Location was ok. Not the worst, but not the best either (if there even is a best in Oroville). Staff was VERY kind and patient with the crazy guests they have to deal with. Rooms were surprisingly very clean. Didn't smell bad at all. Grounds were kept very clean as well. Close to the freeway, but is quiet area in general.

Oraville is a small town located in the northwest corner of North Dakota, in the United States. With a population of just over 100 people, it is a tight-knit community that values its rural way of life. The law enforcement/district attorney's office is corrupt.
The law enforcement/district attorney's office is corrupt. My rights have repeatedly violated. Attempts to get help from both law enforcement agencies and the district attorney's office have gone ignored. Town is full of drug addicts and alcoholics. Absolutely no reason to go there unless you're a pervert or a drug addict.

Oroville was a mid point between the Pacific in Northern California and Lake Tahoe, we needed a hotel that offered everything and this one fulfilled all our requirements for a one night stay on a very long drive. The scenery to get there was amazing and the staff whilst there were brilliant. Perfect in every way.

I booked a superior king suite for September 13th to the 14th. I am in a regular King room that I rented the 12th to the 13th which is not a suite. Super 8 staff is awesome, it's clean. They are currently not doing hot breakfast because of covid or any breakfast. However Booking.com do not honor their price match and I will never use their site again.

We were there to meet up with family and looked at land for sale in adjacent areas so Oroville was a central meeting spot for us. The Oroville dam was pretty impressive. There is a disc golf course at the park but it was a bit challenging to find all the baskets.

I can't say I liked anything about this place, looks like a really run down dump, the room I stayed in was nasty, they are claiming thst they found illegal stuff and are withholding my deposit, the sign in the front looks worn, I'm surprise booking would associate with a place like this, this would be a bad image for booking.com to associate with.
They double charged me for days they never credited my account back for the deposits I made I was charged over $990 for deposits and double payments I've never received any refund on it I've contacted the place and when I did the staff said that they weren't trained and knowledgeable enough to do a refund and that the manager was out of town for 7 days which had my account drawn for overdrawn for 7 days I still have not received my deposit back I still have not received money back for the double charges I was made fuck that hotel
this wasn't my first visit I have been here plenty of times.I can say from my last visit, your hotel has improved a great deal
I didn't have dog feses in the room this time thank you for that. And I didn't have running water last time as the water wasn't working and I havd to go elsewhere to bathe and shower as there wasn't any water( it wasn't the greatest stay I had I would have liked my money refunded for them room it was lousy..but I booked it again

.The lady next door was nice. NO pets, No Coffee, Coffee less coffee maker, no friendly check in person, the cooler is around the corner of the room so it's very warm in room. No place to relax outside the room, no pool, garden, or patio area. Would highly recommend any other motel in Oroville.
