Most of the front staff were good but I want to partially call out Andrew as he was excellent. He resolved our room situation immediately and courteously. Previous to this we told staff about the smell in the room but it was ignored.

I had a very difficult time finding the hotel but once there, I loved the bed and plenty of pillows and the thick bedspread. This is the first time I can remember that I didn't have to ask for a blanket. Everything in my room was spotless and new looking. I didn't actually leave the hotel because I didn't want to leave my cat. I'm sure the trip was quite stressful for her, since she was staying in a large carrier in a strange place, so I very much appreciated the microwave and fridge.Carol - 8.0Scored 8.0

The facilities and parking at Venetian Gardens and Beach were great. A little water standing in the grass parking area due to rain. It might could be addressed with some added fill material/dirt in the low spots. Very good lighting around the boat ramp and sidewalks!! I previously submitted a review of the Hampton Inn in Leesburg but got it mixed up with another hotel we stayed in while on our vacation. So I'd like to correct what I wrote about the breakfast. It was a fantastic breakfast with hot and cold foods, and had a great variety to choose from. I was visiting my daughter who is a student at Beacon College. Leesburg is very relaxed. It could use a few more activities such as more music venues, more diverse restaurants, and more family friendly activities (i.e. miniature golf or amusement venues, etc.) Also more cost effective options for transportation choices from /to the Orlando Airport. I often pay more to get from Orlando to Leesburg than I do from Atlanta to Orlando. More airport shuttles that charge a reasonable fee are very much needed.
