If you need a short stay location while at the hospital - Comfor Suites might work for you. As long as you're not concerned by black mould. Kendall itself was enjoyable - and quite walkable from Comfor Suites.

do not stay in a room where you have maintenance or housekeeping in front. You will not sleep after 8 am from the constant slaming of door. Very busy area, lots of traffic, lots of places to eat also. Recommend it only for one to two night stay for business or fast stay. The people though were wonderful. We started and ended our 3 weeks roadtrip around Florida in Kendall. We liked it that much, that we canceld our last hotel and went back to The Palms Inn & Suites Hotel, where we started. The area seemed very safe, we liked the walking distance to the restaurants nearby. We walked to the Kendall Indian Hammocks Park, which was also nice. If you want to be near Miami, but want it more quiet and not so hectic like downtown Miami, then Kendall is the perfect place. We loved every bit of our stay.MariusGermany - 6.0Scored 6.0

The Hotel was ok. The flush had some serious problems a and we had to order the breakfast and waiting for it to be ready. No really convenient if you are in a rush. We were there not on vacation! For the price we paid I would expected more. Another annoying thing is that someone among the staff wasn't even able to speak english!
