We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it had a lot of room. Loved the full kitchen. The patio had an amazing view of the ocean. The staff was nice and prompt when we needed anything.

Location was wonderful for our planned itinerary.
There were extras that we always use that I have never seen elsewhere: smaller cooler for food when traveling, napkins provided when eating in.

It was the perfect location for us, but I loved the way Michelle had decorated—so fun and colorful. The bed was comfy and there were so many thoughtful details that we lacked for nothing! It was a great start to our Hawaii vacation!

I am 80 so I was needing a place to sleep, which met my required assets. I don't know about romantic...sorry! And my host was knowledgeable and helpful ... what more could I ask except to say thank you.

The view from the balcony is second to none! We are sunset junkies and have watched the sunset from all over Hawaii. BY FAR, this balcony sunset beats every other location on any island in all of Hawaii.

We loved the island. The ocean, the colorful flowers, shrubs and trees. We did an amazing all day tour to the coffee farm, the volcano national park, black sand beach, lava tube, water falls and valley. We also did an absolutely stunning tour of the Mauna Kea summit to watch the sunset, star gaze and telescope close ups of the moon, Jupiter and stars clusters. Our Manta Ray tour was cancelled due to bad sea conditions, which I appreciated very much their safety concerns over profits.
It’s a beautiful island with lots of sights to visit and things to do.

Manta Ray Adventures night snorkel was a blast!!!!
Historical harbour cruise was fun and informative.
Royal Kona luau (voyagers of the pacific) was terrible.
If you have a rental car, it is very easy to get around the island for a day trip.

The coffee was amazing, the food was great (although the restaurants were very crowded). Public parking was hard to come by and paid parking was very expensive. Get a rental car and you are in a good central location to hike, visit the volcano, and from all the shopping and touristy things to do.

First of all, this was not the room that was pictured on booking.com. I ended up in a tiny little corridor, claustrophobic, feeling room with a toilet that just kept running, and a lanai door that would not open. Clearly, this did not just happen it was like rusted shut and should never have been rented in such condition. I have reached out to the property I’ve reached out to booking.com. No one has called me or emailed me. I uploaded videos to prove what a mess this place was.

Paying to park anywhere near the waterfront was expensive.
Paying to park anywhere near the waterfront was expensive. There were a lot of what seemed to be homeless people on the waterfront as well. We actually rented a car and drove almost entirely around the island seeing as much as possible. We enjoyed having a beer at Da Shark Shack. Driving south we had a few scenic areas that gave information on the lava fields that was interesting. Many of the Shoreline Public Access areas either didn't have any where to park or the shoreline wasn't really user friendly

It’s a pretty spectacular place but I probably won’t return to this specific area in Hawaii. The downtown makes me sad. The number of homeless in the parks and on the streets was heart breaking. The downtown feels like it’s dying. There are a lot of shuttered stores or empty storefronts. It’s not an enjoyable place to shop or spend money.
All the people we met were very nice. We had excellent adventures on the water and in the volcano area.
The location of the hotel was perfect and directly in the heart of Kona City. A lot of restaurant 2-5 min walk. The garden was very nice. The resort offers a small but nice pool, a hottub and perfect working and clean gas BBQ grills for free use. The kitchen was well equipped and had a large fridge (wich had a few useful leftovers like souces and ketchup).
The bathroom was ok but not special.
Good morning breakfast. Good size room. Pool and jacuzzi. Location was about a couple blocks from the tourist shopping area. Less than a mile (0.7mi) to the Royal Kona Hotel where they have a Luau. Best to walk there as you would have to pay for parking. A mile or two from a Target or Walmart if you needed essential items.
Beautiful view. Hosts added little touches like sunscreen, free sparkling water, extra blanket, fan, and Keurig cups. New sheets on bed. We had all we needed. Inexpensive compared to most other Airbnb & hotel rooms. Hosts gave clear directions to property.
I was happy to find that there was a washer/dryer in our unit and the hotel gave us laundry soap every day. The coffee was also decent. The hotel also provides beach towels (which they replace upon request with fresh ones)
I liked the end result of my discussion with Vacation International (VI) Resorts, which is the organization responsible for Sea Village units advertised on Booking.com. Final result: unit #2206, 2bd, 2ba, ocean view.
The hotel is centrally located in Kone and is adjacent to a jetty protected beach. The Aloali'i Cultural Center on site is a wonderful resource and has some fun classes in Hula, cultural tours and Lei making.
Great large apartments. I like that they have invested in solar panels and that the AC turns off when the balcony door are open. Great parking spaces, comfy beds. Reasonably close to Kailua-Kona centre.
Good location and convenient, well equipped in the room. Beautiful view of balcony for breakfast and relax. Room and hotel area are clean and beautiful, making vacation fantastic.
Very small hotel, with great location and right on the waterfront. Great views, comfortable room, and friendly staff. Would definitely choose this hotel when we return to Kona.
Great location, short walk to beach, shops and restaurants. staff are very accomodating . No resort fee was a bonus. Good sized pool which was never overcrowded .
Relaxing, low key resort with large apartments and beautiful views of the sunsets from the pool. Facilities in the apartments were great, everything you needed.
