Our host reached out in advance with very thorough instructions and followed up with a phone call the day of arrival. The apartment was perfect for our needs, immaculately clean, with a big cozy bedroom, a great bathroom with double sinks and a large shower, and a kitchen equipped with all the essentials. It’s located relatively nearby to Stowe village and Mt Mansfield (about a 30 min drive) and there are plenty of shops and restaurants close by.

They were right when they said they bring a little bit of Austria to Vermont they were right. The hotel and grounds were exceptionally clean. The staff was always welcoming when you arrived at the hotel, and the food at the Kaffehaus and the Main Dining Room was awesome.

I loved the character of the beautiful old home and how welcoming and helpful Julie and John were. If you plan to spend time in Burlington it is about an hour away but the drive on local roads is beautiful. We ate in Stowe at Harrison’s was terrific.
