The staff was excellent. Initially the front desk could not find my reservation. Eventually, 1 half hour later the front desk determined my name had been incorrectly written on their guest list. The room I was provided was UNSAT. However, the staff took corrective actions to fix/resolve the problems, before I returned in the evening of the same day.

Columbus is one of the safest towns to stay overnight in Georgia. Plenty of handicap parking and well lighted. We arrived late for an overnight stay enroute to Hilton Head. Dining options were crowded due to Friday evening activities. A Steak and Shake one block away filled the bill for us . The highways into / out of Columbus were in excellent condition and scenic👍💥

Run down dirty hotel I was there 3 nights and my room was not cleaned! My toilet wa blocked since I arrived. I reported it to several front desk staff until I met the maintenance guy and he fixed it. Up until then I used the public bathroom! The pool area is awful’ I should have taken pictures of the tor lounger. The manager did call me but never returned my calls! Yet no credit fir my inconvenience

There were a number of things wrong with the room.
There were a number of things wrong with the room. Let’s start with the bed the comforter had stains one appeared to have been detergent the other unknown I didn’t realize it until I took the top sheet off. A lamp in the room was broken the outlets they provide on the tables are lose and don’t hold your charger.
Bathroom- The shower had hair in the drain, an open bar of soap and a random shaver cap. It wasn’t properly cleaned The drain stopper wasn’t even in the drain but on the floor or the tub. The towel hook is coming off the wall. The rack they have over the toilet was rusted and definitely needs to be replaced.
The toilet barely flushed the sink didn’t look like it was cleaned.
One good thing is they have a refrigerator and a microwave both looked clean, the Wi-Fi was easy to connect too I was able to use my fire stick. House keeping kept knocking on the door even with the do not disturb sign on the door handle. The AC unit needs to be cleaned but it worked so that’s better than nothing. I booked that hotel because of the price it was affordable and because of the pool, the pool was not open which is something they should have told you prior to booking the room, I mean it’s July in Georgia it’s hot and gross outside a pool would have been nice to use. The ice machine was broken and it smelled like urine.
Good things about the hotel is that is its just a few minutes away from the airport which was great, the staff was friendly at least whoever I spoke too. They do have vending machines but those are located where the ice machine is and it smells. I can’t say I will ever go use them again. It is a privately owned hotel apparently so the owner needs to stop being cheap and upgrade the rooms, hire better cleaning staff as well or make sure the rooms are checked.

For the first time I have stayed at this place I was not impressed with all the places that were sent up for people to set around and get intoxicated but no where designed for smoking or children to be intertwined and only one day was the pool used by 2 people besides my family and for the price all of us paid it wasn't nothing worth it.to sit around and just talk with the family we had to go outside and sit and watch a building being put up.will not recommended to any one else

Nice location. Plenty stores and eateries.
Nice location. Plenty stores and eateries. For a military family the hospitality wasn't so great, welcoming, and respectful. Longhorn steakhouse wasn't very full, first meal for my Army soldier to have on the day of his graduation. The managers weren't very nice and wanted to seat us where they wanted which we explained we'd need more room to eat comfortably!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! The with Famous Footwear weren't friendly at all no friendly faces or customer service worth coming back for. The only reason I put up with it my son needed running shoes for going back to base. All shoe shops were the same. Very angry especially when I work in customer service and great all my customers equally, respectfully and go beyond to make their experience better for their needs.

We were in Columbus for a graduation at Fort Benning.
We were in Columbus for a graduation at Fort Benning. We spent majority of our time on base - but enjoyed the trip. Especially the trip to the National Infantry Museum. Wish we had more time in downtown Columbus. It looked very quaint, and almost seemed like our home town of Greenville, SC.
The place Has bugs. You pay for breakfast but don't get it. The front desk workers were never at the desk but you could find the worker in their car out front in the parking lot. They charged double for a deposit fee and at checkout you will never receive any of your deposit back because the owner will make up a fake lie about why they had to keep your deposit. Example: smoking in the room Even though you never smoked in your lifetime
Mr. Jose, working the front desk was highly professional and personable. A clean room, adjustable temperature controls, and a good bed with lots of pillows provided a good sleep. I felt safe as the room seemed secure. All staff I encountered were very friendly and attuned to good service. The two complimentary bottles of water were real nice and necessary after my lengthy travel. Very easy checkout.
Have stayed at this hotel on 3 different occasions when my husband had early morning medical procedures. The room is always clean, the bed is comfortable, and the staff has been great! On our most recent stay, I requested a late check-out, and the staff was very accommodating. I was able to get some needed sleep before I had to drive us home, and it was very much appreciated.
I enjoyed the fact that it’s minutes away from downtown Columbus & the Civic Center. It seems as though that they may have also renovated & updated the rooms. For breakfast, I did like the pancake machine, where it makes the pancakes for you & comes out on their own on your plate. There is also Handicap parking 🅿️. Lastly, my bed & pillows were so comfortable!!!
The hotel room was as expected. The room was clean over all. There is no closet in the rooms but there is a bench that works perfect to put your items on. We made it work. The breakfast was limited but was perfect for a quick bit. To get your day started.
I was pleased by the relative cleanness of the room. Reviews had not given the top cleaners awards. Therefore I had brought my own pillow. Country Inn and Suites has a good reputation to I booked because of the value and price of the room.
The only thing I liked about that hotel was leaving. It was nasty. The management was HORRIBLE. There was black hair all over the shower. The bathroom floor was nasty. The sheets had not been changed. Very EXTREMELY POOR MANAGEMENT 😢
Location is what we liked the least! From the title of the property, we thought we would have been downtown.
In fact, we usually stay at Marriott across the river in Phoenix City. The clerk there recommended it!
the location is central for the waterfront and other things in Columbus. we went to a hockey game at the civic center one night and the waterfront another night. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.
I loved the toiletries! The room was beautiful. The view was so amazing. The staff was friendly and so very helpful. The town of Columbus was so much fun to explore and everything was within walking distance.
I visit Columbus often during the hockey season. I always stay at this hotel. I love the location. Not surrounded by the city but close enough that you can get to everything quickly.
