We shopped at the Cashmere Goat for knitting stuff, Rockport Blueprint for art supplies.
Go on the Maine Sports harbor kayak tour and a sunset tall ship cruise on the Appledore or Olad.

Camden is a beautiful and historic city.
Camden is a beautiful and historic city. We visited the Windsor Chair Factory, walked all the streets of the historic downtown, took a sailing trip on the Surprise, a two-masted wooden sailing schooner - magical (Ramiro and Nicole de Acevedo Ramos 207.236.4687). The Farnsworth Museum is close (Rockland) and is a must-see if you like Wyeth.

I loved the hotel 16 Bay View as well as the town itself. So many cute shops and walkable streets. Many great restaurants and loved Camden Massage as well. Had a spectacular birthday dinner at Franny's and enjoyed the look-out at Mt Battie.

Loved the scenic walkability and cozy feel of the town.
Loved the scenic walkability and cozy feel of the town. Did not love the lack of available restaurants that could accommodate our large family. 2 hour wait most nites, no reservations accepted. Hard for kids to have Late dinners or wait when they are starving. Finally settled on take out chinese in Camden and ate on hotels back deck. Otherwise lovely area, will return in slower season.

Downtown easily walkable.
Downtown easily walkable. Many choices for dining and shopping. We went during shoulder season and not all restaurants and shops were open and if they were, hours were limited . Can easily see when in season things would get very crowded.

Camden is one of Maine's prettiest towns, it sits on the water and is surrounded by mountains, perfect! Downtown Camden is so picturesque with its harbor and cute little shops, so many from which to choose! Although the weather was not nice at all while we visited, we were able to get out and walk and loved that Camden had a fraction of visitors that it typically has!
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in during more than fifty years of traveling. Imagine a superlative and it fits Grand Harbor. Incredible view 40 feet from the bay; luxurious bed and pillows; fireplace in the room; upscale furniture; 10-jet jacuzzi tub, a 6-jet jacuzzi shower, four lighting systems in the bathroom; breakfast served in your room; large balcony over-looking the harbor. Quiet. Incredible staff, esp. Maureen. Ask for Room #2.

The room was very cosy with a fireplace. Loved that!
Balcony with nice view
Very good bathroom with great shower (water could come form all the corners!)
Nice bar where they made great cocktails
Nice atmosphere in the hotel. Nice chairs to sit in. Xmas feeling.
Good recommendation to go to a mountain and to go to a lobster place
The place was at a lovely horse farm and nicely tucked in the woods. Nice to see this side of Camden, down the long roads behind the town. It is a sweet little fairytale house in the woods. The host and hostess met us and were very very friendly and helpful. Quiet, beautiful surroundings.
We only stayed one night en-route to another city, but the Camden Inn was warm and inviting and we had a great stay.
Location in Camden is perfect and the room was very nice with a great view of the harbour.
Breakfast was a little limited, but worked out good enough for us.
Small plates/dishes for breakfast with lots of choices - not a heavy meal that makes you feel uncomfortably full.
There were numerous places to sit in the lobby/foyer.
Every staff person was lovely.
Whitehall was within walking distance to Camden’s downtown area.
This cute little hotel was in a perfect location to be right downtown Camden. The parking lot had a garden and was lovely to walk through to get to the town. It also provided an easy gateway to be able to travel up the coast of Maine and make it back to.
They made my daughter feel so special on her birthday! Lord Camden Inn is a beautiful hotel in the center of town. We walked everywhere and the shops
around it were so cute. We had a balcony overlooking the harbor and it was truly delightful.
The location is lovely- right on Rt. 1 between Camden and Rockport.
The innkeepers are welcoming and the breakfasts are delightful out on the patio (indoor seating also available) and delicious.
The rooms are very pretty and comfortable.
Our hosts were amazing and took great care to see that we were ok. They made a huge effort to produce an exceptional breakfast which we ate outside. The entire experience was outstanding and I would recommend the Elms of Camden to anyone.
Cute hotel, plenty of parking. Nice big open space for reading and relaxing, although the furniture could have been a bit more comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic, unique small plate format, very tasty. Plenty of parking.
Janis and Peter were the consummate hosts. Everything about the experience shouted class, thoughtfulness, and excellence. If ever you go to Camden, Maine - this is the place to stay
We loved the central location of the hotel along with how cozy it felt. Our room felt like a small apartment, with the fireplace and bathroom being a standout for us.
