We liked the location and the ease of getting belongings from the car to the room. We also liked that there was dedicated space for two suitcases. Most places only have one. The pillows were also nice.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were very comfortable and the facility and location are awesome. The Courtyard is such a cool idea! We met a very friendly bartender upstairs at Toogies who gave us a primer on Bourbon tastings. Clean and comfortable, and the beds were perfect. This would be a great place to stay for several couples when the courtyard is in full swing!

Bardstown is a lovely little town in the heart of Bourbon country, great for a weekend trip! Some lovely restaurants and some not so good ones. Talbot Inn was very hyped up but did not live up to it's reputation. Mammy's was awesome !

Our trip this time was just 1 night but I have visited before. The downtown has nice shops, the distilleries are fun to visit. Also Stephen Foster home & park. So happy to see that they have now acknowledged that enslaved people built and maintained the place or it would not exist.

If you like historic architecture, distillery trips and tasting, and some really unique dining and drinking experiences it is the place for you. the downtown shops are nice and friendly, there are both new and one of a kind historic restaurants. the towns people seem very polite and friendly and the town itself was nice. driving traffic is almost nonexistent and you can get anywhere fairly quickly
The location in the center of Bardstown was great and staying in a historic place was memorable. Our modern room in the annex next door to the tavern was large and comfortable (except for the internet - see below). The historic tavern built in 1779 next door also has rooms with period furniture but if you want to stay there you have to request it well in advance or be very lucky at check-in.
The room was clean and nice. A little outdated but that wasn't a problem for me. The owner was very nice and polite. The hotel sit in a nice area and convenient to the local town. I was just down there for a night but from what I seen there were tons of local attractions to go to very close to the hotel. I will be back in town soon and I will stay again.
The guest accomodations were amazing, spacious room perfectly clean and inviting, guest work out area, breakfast area, fresh water out for guests at reception, kind and funny staff, great breakfast selections, near downtown Bardstown, great parking and access. Well lit and felt very safe.
The breakfast was fully stocked. The staff was nice. The area was very clean. This hotel is very popular. The price was worth it. We did not enjoy the pool but it was open. We did see children enjoying themselves and that was very nice. Very family friendly hotel. Also pet friendly!
Very clean, refreshed large room with private restroom. All clean, and working properly. Spacious parking available. Great location in central part of Bardstown, close to restaurant, shops, or main "square" of city. Perfect for night on bourbon trail.
Great location in the heart of Bardstown. Unique hotel that takes you back in time. The morning breakfast in the courtyard was delicious and the staff went out of their way to give you the history and tour of the jail.
We were less than half a mile to the shops and restaurants. All of the staff were super friendly. We would definitely stay there again if we are ever back in Bardstown. This motel is a great value. Great pool.
This was the second time we've stayed at this hotel. The rooms are extremely nice and clean. The bed was wonderful. The whole property is clean and nice.
