Good quality price. The room was clean and the staff very kind and attentive. The breakfast could be with more options, is too basic but for this price was very good.

The hotel is very good, value for money is excellent.
We have previously stayed at the Grand Hotel Orient which is more expensive. However, this time there were no rooms. And the Express Hotel was a pleasant surprise, because, with the exception of the smaller size of the room, it did not differ from the more expensive Orient. Solid furniture, good bedding and mattresses, bathroom equipment. Very clean. The air conditioning works well in the room and a decent sized fridge also works well, unlike the minibars which are barely cold. Additional options include soap (in dispensers) and towels. There are no slippers, brushes, etc. - you need to have it with you (by the way, this is not stated by the hotel, I just inform you).
Breakfast is similar to what was offered in the Orient. Not a large assortment, but everything is fresh and of high quality: eggs, sausages, tomatoes, several types of cheese, bread, juice and good coffee. One fresh tomato is better than 10 weathered vegetables.
The staff speaks English.

Literally everything, it’s an exquisite renovated boutique in the middle of Braila. We stayed only one night but got to enjoy the cosy athmosphere, super friendly staff, tasteful decorations and modern sauna with the relaxation room. The hotel was not as described . 4 star with bar and restaurant. Bar was very limited and unstocked ,without ice. Restaurant remained closed all days during my stay and both of these was why I chose this hotel. I wish to make a formal complaint to you regarding this so please contact me.

The city has quite a culture, sure it needs investments in the face of the city and getting the historical buildings restored but what it lacks money wise it makes up in places to eat, drink , party and the people are the coolest and prettiest in the whole country. Do take my word for it. Braila, it's something else. Everyone here is handy and resourceful and you can see it very easily.

You can see most of Braila in a day if you're an active person, a weekend if you like to be slow-paced. It is not a bustling city so there's not much partying or any such activities, it is quiet and a bit old fashioned, if you're into that sort of thing.
I do not recommend this property at all! Firstly the location is in a very bad neighbourhood of Braila, the only good thing beeing that some shopping stores are close to it. Secondly the apartment was smelling very bad of cigarettes as someone had been having a party inside, the location was not clean, no toilet paper present in the bathroom, the toilet was dirty, the floor was not wiped clean in a while, the kitchen dirty as well. The owner told us to wait 1 hour for him to clean a bit but as I said, still the location was not as it should!
It’s a guest house on the opposite side from the hotel with a similar name, but we were allowed to use hotel’s parking, which was super nice.
The restaurant at the guest house worked till late so we could order late dinner - and pizza was even brought to our room.
It’s pretty clean, except for the shower which looked super old.
It's always a pleasure staying at Saint Germain - the location, the rooms, the staff, the quiet - everything is top notch. I appreciate all the care that was put into the high standard of service. The restaurant also has excellent food, breakfast is not too diverse, but fresh and with quality ingredients.
Centrally located in Braila, in a slightly dated construction. Owner organized a quick intro with support of his English speaking daughter. Very complete set of facilities in the flat. All was comfortable and easy to use. Compact studio with full functionality.
It is hard to find a more central location in Braila than at this hotel. The wonderful managers/owners (a married couple) take extremely good care of their customers. From the moment you check in to the abundant breakfast, it is hard to be better cared for.
Great location in a safe area next to the police stations. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast is more than one can ask for such money. Friendly staff and free parking in front of the hotel. 24/7 reception desk. This place is a great value for money.
Location is perfect (facing the pedestrian area in Braila), and the apartment is really well furnished, with a "welcome home" vibe! It is very spacious, with a great view! The host was really nice to us, and everything in our trip went great!
Propety location is nice by the Danube but nothing around you definitely need car. Insisde the hotel was nice for 3 stars , Staff on the reception the girl and the young man very polite and nice and very friendly I will give them a 5 star .
Cosy smaller Hotel that was previously a Villa, and well maintained.
Right in the heart of the city center.
Free parking lots in front of the entrance.
Short walking distance to Restaurants, attractions and the Donau river.
It's just good for it's money. Not more, not less. Just for a night stay.
- pretty fresh interior
- clean room
- WiFi works ok
- restaurant + bar downstairs (but closes pretty early for hotel guests, not for banquet)
The hotel is in the central part of the city. The room was furnished nicely, and the view from the window was of the Danube river.
There was also a minibar with everything you might quickly need.
