The staff is very very polite and friendly. Location is very good since you are in the center of the city of Barcelos. There's a great potential for this hotel, but sadly, i think the management is not putting some budget in order to keep it in shape.

It was very clean, it had every amenity needed in the kitchen which came very handy specially with children. The cafe was fantastic and the people who showed me to my place were extremely helpful helping find supermarkets and other concerns I had. I recommend it without a doubt!

The place was very comfortable and beautifully furnished. After many long days, walking on the Camino, it was like coming home to my own home. I could not have asked for a nicer stay in a comfortable bed in a great location, then Casa Dourada. my only regret is that I only had one night to stay!

The room was great...large w dining area and small kitchen. The view was of a square w a fountain and the church in the distance. Having a good coffee shop next door that was also the spot for our included full breakfast was great too. Spent two nights here taking a rest day and so glad we did. Town is really nice and accommodations were excellent. On Thursdays is the bug market day. We also took a Bolt to Bom de Jesus near Braga for a few hours.
