Staying on the grounds of Ksiaz Castle was so convenient, we got to explore before the day trippers came! Lodging was basic but cosy and comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Excellent Castle, very interesting underground tour, good breakfast, good view of castle from our window. We walked to the Hotel through the forest from the bus stop which was lovely, However we got the no 8 bus at the gate directly back to the train station at Walbrzych. Should have got train from Wroclow to Walbrzych not Swiebodzice where we had to get the No 1 bus then walk through the gate and forest to the hotel.

the old town in Wałbrzych is very small and we thought we would be bored. However, there are very interesting things to see a little way away, Zamek Książ, the Palmiarnia and Stara Kopalnia, all easily accessible by bus. We also visited Jelenia Góra which has a bigger old town and is touristy, easy to access by train. We picked Wałbrzych as access to Jelenia Góra and Kłodsko are so easy. We ate at Pasaż which has Polish food. We also ate at Frettza Pizza and the sushi place, both good. I ate at Bar Pierożek, a milk bar near Pan Tadeusz, which was ace - but I always go on my own :)

Beautiful city, covering a few valleys and stretching rather far. It was a real jewel once. There are signs of decay which happened after WWII unfortunately. These may add to an overall romantic and mystic vibes of this place. The mountains are well worth a few days of hiking. But also the explorations of the hidden corners of the old city. The castle (the largest one amongst many others located here) is famous but way overcrowded: couldn't get to it. But I'm definitely going to revisit this charming place.
This hotel was an absolute dream. So close to the castle and just beautiful. It felt like you were staying in a fairytale cottage. Room was spacious, very clean and had a beautiful view. The hotel also had a restaurant downstairs which served delicious food. Staff was all very kind, friendly and helpful. Also, the breakfast buffet was five stars, absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend people visiting Zamek Ksiaz or even just Poland stay here.
It was a great stay in Wałbrzych. The host reached out to us upfront to agree on what time to meet to handover the keys, show the apartment and the parking place. When the person didn't speak English, they called the actual host to be able to explain everything properly who then later came back for a coffee machine and to show us the parking. She really made the extra effort. For us, the place was more than we needed and we had a great stay.
Great hotel staff - by mistake we have booked one night more, the reception lady deducted the cost from our bill without any problems. That was very kind, thank you! Very close to the castle, 2 mins. on foot, amazing window view, spacious room and bathroom, very well-equipped (tv, tea, kettle, towels, soap, shower gel). Warm room, quiet hotel.
The biggest advantage of this hotel is that is located in the complex of Stara Kopalnia. It gives you opportunity to for example take part in the night sightseeing without thinking of the way back to hotel in the late hours. Besides room are clean and comfortable and there is also quite a variety for breakfast.
It is right next to the Castle Ksiaz- an excellent location with a parking (30zl per day) in front of the hotel, next to the booths selling tickets to visit the Castle. The one restaurant serving 3 different hotels (including Hotel Zamkowy) is conveniently located nearby.
The overall experience was pretty good. Neat and tidy room, very welcoming lounge zone and splendid choice of drinks.
The vibe of the hotel is pretty generic, though some authentic details remain - decoration of the floors and reception zone gains attention.
Great place to stay near Ksiaz ! amazing location , very cozy and clean rooms , welcoming and helpful host! breakfast was delicious , so I highly recommend you to order that before your stay
The location is amazing, next to the Castle and surrounding gardens. The hotel is fine, comfortable but nothing spectacular. The area is really the gem.
Staying in this hotel, was like staying in a castle. The view was amazing and the staff were super sweet and helpful. I would happily stay here, again.
