Slubice lies on the Polish/German border,about 85 kilometres east of Berlin. It's very much a tourist town,a magnet for Germans who cross the border to buy cigarettes,vodka and cut-price petrol. As a result,there are loads of duty-free shops and supermarkets.Other than this,it's a pleasant little town which boasts a few historical monuments and enjoyable riverside walks. If you are traveling around Europe, this is a great place to stay. 2 hours away from Central Berlin, and price is just ridiculously low for the service. I would definitely stay in Slubice again! The double room on the first floor was much better than the triple room on the first floor. There was kettle, glasses and new bedlinen. Overall, hotel is good for short stop, then traveling to of from Germany. Germany border is only 3 km. Slubice is nice town.
