I'm American and I don't speak Polish. The staff was friendly and they all spoke English very well and were helpful. The hotel was clean. The food and coffee were really good.

Let me preface my review by saying that I'm American and I was in Piła for business. I didn't have as much time as I would have liked to explore. Overall, I thought Piła was very nice. It was pretty clean and very pretty. There's a river that runs through town and a nice trail that follows along side it. Piła is not touristy, but there are still a fair bit of people who speak English. There was only one little Kebab shop we went to where the employee spoke minimal English, but everywhere else the employees were proficient. Most places were closed on Sunday, which was unexpected. Grocery stores and restaurants everywhere. Many different shops. BigBen Pub has great pizza and many different beers. Great people/owners. Very easy to walk or catch a bus. Many trees, bike paths, parks, etc.
