We stayed in the East Wing side of the hotel overlooking the ocean. Beautiful view from our bedroom and a few steps to the beach. We're not far from Anda Food Park also about 3 minutes walk. Friendly staff and the owner was also welcoming. They have a Doberman dog which was friendly and good natured. Likes to hang out with us 😊

This property is beautiful, the rooms were lovely and the scenery was so relaxing. The sea was stunning and the snorkelling trip we did through the hotel was the best coral reefs I have ever seen. We also saw multiple turtles. The staff are so friendly and made us feel really welcomed.

We felt so at home. Anda Home is only 3 minutes walk to Cabagnow Cave Pool and around 5 minutes to the beach. There is an entrance fee of 50 pesos each to go to the Cave Pool. Staff are very helpful, got our transport sorted. Anything you need they are more than happy to help you. The private hut where you can chill outside your home was a bonus. Spent most afternoons chilling with a bottle of Grande or Red Horse in that cool hut (kubo)!

Anda is still unspoilt by tourism.

Anda is still unspoilt by tourism. There are no kiosks selling cuddly toys or kiss me quick hats and to be honest, if that is what you expect from a holiday you should head to one of the popular destinations in the Mediterranean. If you want to see real life in the Philippines then Anda is probably one of the last remaining destinations. The signs of change are starting but it's still there now if you are quick.

TLDR: If you have food allergies, your food choices will be severely limited. Beach cleanliness needs work. Other points of interest will have trash laden everywhere as well. Vegans will have a tough time in this area since access to this type of food is limited. Your main dish would likely be vegetarian pancit bihon/pancit canton. Vegetarians will fair better. The beach sand and view of the ocean is very nice, but trash is laden everywhere on the beach and needs more effort by the locals to keep the place clean. The trash mainly comes from the ocean where debris will wash ashore, but there are places where trash is left by local inhabitants. There are also no public restrooms on this beach or public trash cans maintained by the local government. Expect to carry your trash with you, if you are the environmentally conscious-type. You will also find significant ocean life on the beaches, so be very careful not to contaminate the environment with human-made products. Other points of interest will have trash scattered everywhere, but this is common in the Philippines. However, you will find less here than the average.

If the goal is mainly to relax , Casa Amihan is an excellent choice, with wonderful staff, always willing to accommodate your requests. It is quite in the middle of nowhere (2hrs drive from the airport) but it is still possible to organize some activities if you don't mind spending some time on commuting (we went swimming with the shark whales in Lila area). I'll definitely recommend this place!

Anda is a beautiful area but you'll have to drive quite a ways from the airport in Panglao. Don't expect hordes of tourists but also don't expect a lot of facilities or restaurants either. The roads to get into some of the resorts are atrocious.

    Anda is a beautiful place.

Anda is a beautiful place. However, one has to do their research on the their accommodation, location and other things that can affect their experience while in Anda. We dodged the bullet when we didnt choose the other resort. You really need to actually READ the review of the accommodation you are eyeing for with a degree of reasonability, re: price commensurate to the location, quality, facility of the resort.

The view at the hotel was amazing. We had a seaview upstairs room and the view across the pool and out to sea was beautiful. The pool and jacuzzi was very nice and a great temperature. The room was spacious, clean and the air con was very cold. The shower was strong with good temperature and the bathroom essentials were also good. Fresh bedding and plenty of towels were available and room keeping was good. The fridge was good. We were able to snorkel using equipment provided and saw lots of fish just off the private beach which was also nice.

We loved this place! The food is the best we had in the Philippines! The resort is a lovely place to hang out and relax. The staff here make it the best place to stay, Teresa, Evangelina and everyone else thank you so much. The dogs Kiki and Lulu are lovely companions while you stay! They will hang out with you and keep you company on the beach. White beach is a two minute walk and it nice to relax. Snorkeling and diving is close by as well if you are interested. Make sure you take time out of your vacation in Bohol to see Anda!

The rooms are beautiful, they have a pool and are only a few hundred meters away from a beautiful beach where you can snorchel. It's quiet and relaxed with beautiful plants in their garden. Great for having a map in your hammock. The food in their restaurant is great and they are currently setting up a movie room for movie nights. The entire staff is incredibly friendly and helpful They will assist you if you would like to book different tours of Bohol.

Everything was perfect! The owners were very kind and hospitable. 🥰 They made us coffee in the morning ☕️ and gave us some bread and eggs for breakfast 🍞🥚. The house is located near the beach (5 minute walk). ⛱️ There is also a cute cottage next to it, where we spent our mornings drinking coffee. 🥰 The owners also have a restaurant/bar, which is perfect for evening drinks/dinner. 🍽 If I ever return to Anda, I will definitely stay here again. ❤️

Great location in Anda in front of the beach. All staff members are really nice, good atmosphere with everyone eating together for dinner. The food is really tasty, the chief can cook (and sing)!! The bungalows are clean and nice. They have scooters for rental and help you organise your transfer (location a bit remote). They have an awesome diving center which we recommend.
