The hotel is cute and well located with plenty of space to get relaxed, the bed was truly comfortable and I woke up every morning with the rooster’s crow and the mountains’s view. . I miss the little cat 🐱 and the lovely and helpful staff.
If you are vegan a vegetarian request it in advance and/ or bring your non-dairy milk and extra veggie food.

There are many attractions in the city of Huancayo, it has a very nice colonial-style square, you can take walks, visit lagoons, climb the Nevado Huaytapallana. It is close to Jauja where there are trout farms and delicious food. My favorite dish is Patasca, it is a very tasty soup. And to alleviate the cold it is good to drink the famous "Calientito", I tried one with orange juice and it was very tasty.JessicaPeru - 10Scored 10

I came after 50 years thinking of seeing a town but I found a big city, lots of stores and restaurants. We love eating at the Olympic restaurant. It is a lot to do in Huancayo that two full days were not enough.

Awesome places to visit are:
Awesome places to visit are: - Torre torre: Huge very impresive natural earth tower formations. - Arwaturo ruins on top of hill near Ñahuinpuquio lake, very nice view of the lake and the Mantaro valley. - Convento de Ocopa church, wonderful outside and inside as well. - To eat you have to try the trout (trucha) and papa a la huancaina.

The staff , Husband and wife, went an extra mile to make my father feels confortable: provided a different pillow and an electric blanket to him. Breakfast was really good, delicious coffee and bread of the region. I hardly recommend "La casa de Justi" , they were awesome. Rosa and her husband know good places like where to find "gelatina de patita", that was delicious; and a good taxi driver. Thank you for all your help

Irma and Jose were great hosts and despite the language barrier went above and beyond to help us make the most of our time in Huancayo, they were very warm and made it a real highlight of our time in Peru. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Huancayo. Also breakfast was great and had variety everyday!

The host Victor is friendly and knowledgeable. They gave me an umbrella to use when I had to go out in the pouring rain. Strong, reliable wi-fi.The breakfast was simply outstanding, made with fresh, local ingredients and love. Victor and his staff run a great hostel - highly recommended!
