Barcelo Hotel, previously the Millenium Hotel, is really one of the hotels that I enjoyed staying at. It is relaxing, far from the city noise. I enjoy the food, the stroll along the beach, the accommodating staffs, and the comfy rooms. I will keep coming back here.YayeePhilippines - 6.0Scored 6.0

Nice place but casual in lot of aspect. Allotment of correct rooms as per booking, not being dishonest about giving a faulty room ( at least apologise for randomly joining two single beds and pushing it as double bed.Actually There should be a refund for wrong room. There was a lamp shade hitting your head in centre, no side table, no universal charging points, cleanliness questionable, bed crawling with ants by night etc). Food menu ( BF, Dinner) requires improvement to cater to larger audience.

The location and the beach was so grate. The check in was so bad they ask you to pay in advance at the time of check in which is so bad .They have no trust on customers . what I like is the tranquil atmosphere and the balcony view...
what I like is the tranquil atmosphere and the balcony view rooms. what I didn't like is that the hotel needs major renovation and maintenance for the rooms and the carpets to be changed as it smells of mould. and the food in restaurants needs to be updated as its been years with the same menu, also they need to find ways to make the food more hygienic and to be covered.Hajer Al BalushiOman - 10Scored 10

Peaceful away from noise. The ocean view. The facilities has swimming pools for kids and adults. Also the beach very clean and can swim in the ocean. No bad smells. Sandy beaches . The morning walk and the coffee. The breakfast which include continental and Arabic. The chef cooking so much can enjoy. The standard of accommodation was excellent, the staff were lovely and friendly. Breakfast tasty and very rich. I was surprised by the large number of compatriots, Czech tourists. We liked the heated pools the gently sloping sandy private beach. Price level higher compared to other accommodation in other parts of Oman, but otherwise we can highly recommend.
