The Brydone is a historic hotel whose location is central to most attraction of Oamaru, The room was small but clean and comfortable with a great shower. The restaurant/café was great and comfortable, just right for listening to the jazz and blues performances we had come to see.

A very friendly, welcoming young lady greeted me on arrival. The room was lovely, large, and very clean. Comfortable bed.
Loved the location - it was in a very tranquil setting. May not suit everyone as you need transport to drive to restaurants and shops. I stocked up in Oamaru before my stay. A very restful place to chill out. Take some reading material with you. TV reception?

Spacious and clean room. Great bathroom with a spa tub. The spa tub was amazing and easy to use. 5 minutes drive to the penguin colony - good for tourists. Easy check-in/out. The heater in the room worked well. Good parking. Amazing TV - Netflix included.

Absolutely phenomenal place to stay! One of the best places to stay in NZ. The home was decked out with all the necessities, even had a fireplace and electric blankets which was much appreciated. The owner was just lovely, very friendly.
