The location was lovely even though I arrived in the rain. The flowers and the overall setting are beautiful.
I was well received and shown to my room where I had everything I needed. I had a view of the lake (sadly, mostly clouds while I was there).
There was a comfortable outside seating area where I was able to enjoy a glass of wine in spite of the nasty weather.

My daughter met me in Auckland from California and I came from Texas. Barbara and Stu were so sweet, kind and friendly. The breakfast room has a beautiful rectangle table I wanted to take home with me. The breakfast was amazing! Crispy meaty bacon, tasty sausage and the eggs were perfectly round. Thanks again for everything!
Offering free WiFi, Coastal Motor Lodge is set on lovely landscaped gardens directly opposite the waters of Kuranui Bay.

We did not enjoy the property. Our “chalet” had a very rusted cafe table and chairs on the front porch. Yuk. The staff looked like he hadn’t showered in days and wasn’t welcoming at all. I would NEVER recommend staying here. What a rip-off.
Just 328 feet from a fresh water swimming spot, Te Puru Holiday Park features BBQ facilities and a children’s playground. Most chalets feature a private patio with outdoor setting.

Had a takeout dinner watching a beautiful sunset from the patio in front of our unit. Room was sparkling clean and comfortable with a partial kitchen and a nice bath. Plenty of options for a light breakfast if you desire. Great for a romantic getaway and a good value for the money.

The holiday home was spacious with a modern bathroom - good lighting, decent shower with good pressure, heated towel rails; new carpet/flooring, fresh paint throughout; large decks front and rear with outdoor seating (our first night we enjoyed fish and chips watching an awesome sunset over the water); comfortable bed in main bedroom; plenty of storage space throughout the home. We also appreciated the filtered tank water.
Offering barbecue facilities, Kiwi Cabins offers accommodations in Tapu.

We went fishing on a charter boat. Less than a minute drive from our location to where we caught our boat. Accommodation was excellent. Facilities were clean and had everything we needed. Shared Shower and toilet facilities but was very clean. Owner super helpful and friendly. Not a problem taking our own bedding.
Shortland Court is located just a 2-minute drive from the historic Thames town center. It offers self-contained accommodations with a kitchenette and a 32-inch flat-screen TV.
Love the hilltop beautiful scenery view. We enjoy our breakfast just outside the room to see the lovely view. Christine is a very friendly and she has been keeping the garden so pretty and all the rooms so clean. We enjoyed our stay at her place and love to be back one day.

The facilities are top notch. The view is incredible, the garden and ground are lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would be back without a question.
The road up to the accommodation is a unique but wonderful once there. We found take out food and brought it back so that we could enjoy the patio in front of our room.

View was stunning.
View was stunning. Felt a bit like a nuisance turning up for our booking, as if we weren’t expected. Room was clean and pleasant but had no opening windows except a very small one on top of the shower box, which could only be reached by a tall person standing on a chair. Access is very steep. Nevertheless a reasonably pleasant stay.

We really only stayed here because it was a good spot in the middle as we wanted to travel all around the Coromandel Peninsula. We thought it was a great spot out of the busier towns and it wasn't too far from everything.
La Casa Te Puru is absolutely stunning! The views are breathtaking, the gardens are beautiful and the service is great. My room was clean, the bed and pillows were super comfortable and it was a lovely calming space. Christine and Drew are kind, friendly hosts that made sure I felt at home.
the stay at Te Puru caravan park private cabin was a home away from home very comfortable clean tidy and peaceful, the location was perfect close to all amenities, we would definitely stay again well worth the price of accommodation, very happy customers 😊.
So far, the best accommodation we've had on our trip many trips. The view and the ambience was excellent! You can't get enough of appreciating the views of the location. Picture perfect! Owner's are accommodating and make our stay worthwhile.
Great location on a hill 50 meters above Te Puru town; amazing views over the sea. Lovely owners who took great effort to make this place their paradise. Small historic site next to lodge. Breakfast excellent.
