The very first word out my mouth upon arrival was “STUNNING! “ Wai Rua is 80 acre farm/estate of absolute idyllic beauty; neatly maintained grounds, with floral highlights present whichever direction one looks. The “cottage” is a misnomer; it is a spacious, fully equipped small house! Kitchen must have every possible modern appliance; the main room is well furnished and extremely comfortable; in the bedroom the king bed is irresistibly relaxing. The whole unit shows off custom installed wood paneling throughout. Then there is the deliciously heated (!) swimming pool with area to lounge before & after.Did I mention the sweet companionable house cat Poly? Hosts Elaine and Allen were warm and hospitable as if faraway family members from the first minute.
