This is a wonderful small hotel. The manager Craig could not have been nicer. We had wonderful conversations with him and learned a lot about the area. The room was spacious, very clean and nicely appointed. It was right in town so it was very easy to walk to everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The owner was very helpful, telling us how to get to the Air Museum and recommending a great Thai restaurant just down the road. This is a lovely little motel which has been well maintained and is very clean. Comfy and cosy.

The location was excellent for us. It is close to the railway station. The main purpose of our trip was a rail excursion, steam train trip.
The motel looks very plain from the main entrance, the delight and suprise is the great view from the room

Loved being in the vineyards - lots of choice for lunch. But not much choice for breakfast or dinner in the area without going through to Blenheim about 25 mins away as most of the vineyard restaurants close around 3 or 4.
