Wonderful experience from the moment I drove up to the property through quiet winding roads and farmland. Arrive during the day if you can to enjoy the views, but pretty at night too. Hosts were beyond welcoming and lovely. Did everything to make my stay exceed my expectations. I look forward to staying again so we can talk more, or play a little guitar 😊 Parking was easy. Room was stunning. Bathroom sooooo spacious, double shower heads and monsoon heads, bath also. Comfy bed and nice robes, towels etc. Balcony on my room was a beautiful spot to watch the sunrise. Breakfast was excellent. Nice lounge to relax in and outdoor spaces overlooking farmland to the hills. Cute Alpacas!! Totally recommend and will definitely be back!

Lucia and Stew were great hosts. I was met as soon as I drove in my Lucia and she showed me round the unit and offered to make fresh coffee for me in the morning and recommended places for me to go for dinner. Stew came by and introduced himself later on and again offered fresh coffee in the morning. The location was great, very peaceful. I will definitely come back. Room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast supplied was great.

A very pleasant setting and comfortable room. This was a repeat visit, I am very happy with this property as it meets my needs and is in a great location. I enjoyed a sunset over Pirongia from the private terrace on this occasion, very relaxing.
Close to Pirongia Pines where we attended a wedding. Very comfortable bed, great shower, clean and an excellent breakfast…. cereal, fruit, juice, full cooked breakfast! Also lovely muffins in our room on arrival.
