The views are beautiful and the hosts are amazing. Glennis and Dave made us feel so welcome and helped us re-arrange our plans when they were a bit overly ambitious. The breakfasts were delicious and the place is nicely decorated, comfortable and just fantastic. We felt like family the second we drove down the driveway and were greeted as we pulled up. A truly wonderful stay.

The place was clean, tidy, and great value for money. The view was incredible and the hosts were very easy to deal with and helpful. Will definitely be coming back in the future. Would highly recommend for a weekend trip away!

I would highly recommend staying at Waters Edge.
I would highly recommend staying at Waters Edge. It was amazing to wake up each day to the view of the water and the sound of the birds. The home is a short walk along the track to Opua marina area. I believe that you can also walk the same track to Paihia although we ran out of time to do this. A close car ride to Paihia. There are plenty of tourist attractions to see.

I was travelling with three other adults, and the use of a second bedroom with single beds was ideal. The property has all the amenities for a short stay (microwave, fridge, TV, etc.). The balcony is very nice, although overlooking the main road which quietens in the evening. Parking is available, but beware of exiting onto the main road at high traffic times. The proprietor was very welcoming and accommodating. Enjoyable. Would I come again, YES, definitely.PaulAustralia

All rooms were spacious. Kitchen had everything you could need. Bathroom was lovely with spacious shower and underfloor heating. Beds very comfy and cosy. We even caught a few fish from the deck. A bonus for us was the Allpress coffee from the nearby General Store
