A surprise for us as we didn't research the area before...
A surprise for us as we didn't research the area before booking to stay there, so discovered it was a gold mining centre and still has the oldest continously run post office which is very cute - a must see if you stay there. Nice restaurant there and lots of architectural history on show!vivNew Zealand
