Rod and Jo were great hosts, engaging and friendly. The facilities were terrific, very clean and we felt right at home. The outside space for us was ideal for relaxing, enjoying a read and glass of wine in the afternoon. Highly recommended.

Great outdoor pool - one of two. Plus there were a couple of spa pools.
The room was good. Bathroom was OK. We were able to borrow some plates and cutlery from the restaurant so we could have our own breakfast. Good selection of tea and coffees.
Suncourt Hotel & Conference Centre offers spectacular views of Lake Taupo and the volcanoes of Tongariro National Park.

Units are a bit dated. They need a freshening up. You pay a high price for the location which is good but the units good have been a lot nicer. Really comfy and roomy bed but we had to pay extra for this - overall worked out very expensive. Drive in entrance cracked and broken could be a problem if walking back to your room at night. Also parking area surface needs attention. We don't feel as if Suncourt put a lot of money into the upkeep of the property.
