It was so nice to arrive to find the fire going and the place nice and warm on a cold day. The beds have electric blankets which were turned on.There were eggs,bread and butter,jam and spreads, a bottle of nice juice,bottle of milk, and fruit etc plus all the usual stuff.
Two big TVs and the whole place was immaculate and modern and very roomy and comfortable. We would stay here again if travelling to Wellington. The drive in is on a sealed road through bush, and although its winding and a bit off the main road is no problem if you take your time. We have told all our friends about this place. Can highly recommend. The hosts were very nice and helpful.

Place had everything you need. Host was fantastic and such a great help as I was from out of the aera.

The mountain views & local rivers & parks are wonderful especially on a bright sunny day. Biking Karapoti road & if really keen bike Akatarawa Forest bike trail. The Rimutaka rail trail & incline is a definite recommend, better to take your time rather than rush it.
