Centrally located this apartment is a little gem, tucked away within easy reach of local amenities. The interior is modern and comfortable, with a kitchen to make your own tea, coffee and breakfast. The fridge was stocked with orange, yoghurt, milk, water and Coca Cola. Perfect after a day’s cycling. We were able to store our bikes in the property overnight.

Beautiful location in a very quiet area. Nice big room with everything needed. Very good attention from the owners in general who also assisted in booking a nice place for dinner nearby. Next visit I will make sure I have the time for a good walk following the channel.

Schoonhoven is a nice quiet historical town. A good selection of cafes and restaurants. We stayed at the Blauwe Deaur b&b which I would highly recommend as the hosts were lovely and the room and facilities excellent for the price.

The location near the dyke is lovely with the historical city of Schoonhoven in the back. The bedrooms are on the first floor, but there is an elevator. Some overlook the river. The dining rooms are lovely, tall ceilings and windows going out onto the river Lek. The service at the restaurant is exceptional and the menu as well as the à la carte options very tasty. Definitely recommend staying here.
