It was a very cozy and comfortable place to stay. Even though it was a bit far from the center. It felt like home for us.
Situated on a friendly street in Amstelveen, at Hotel Abina you can enjoy easy access to the bustling center of town with the peace and prettiness of the nearby Amsterdam Forest.

The area were kind. The rooms were spacious and clean. When we are in the area, we always stay for 7 nights so it is nice they have enough storage for all our clothes, etc...we enjoyed that the hotel was quiet (at least it was during our stay), since we are there for work. The breakfast is great, bread rolls, butter, jams, meat and cheese, fruits, veggies, cereal, coffee, juice...and you can request made to order eggs (just make sure you book with breakfast included). There is parking at the hotel. Over all, a good place to stay for your money.

The staff were nice, although unhelpful at times. It really depended on who was working there if they knew about the facilities or amenities.
I appreciated the neighborhood - there was a supermarket walking distance, there was parking, and it seemed? To be a college town. The tram was a few minutes away by walking which took 25 minutes total to get to the city center and main attractions.
They did offer two dishwasher pods!

going towards the center of Amsterdam took us a a bit more of 50 min or less but the scenery was what made the difference. You can enjoy the Clean atmosphere when taking the tram, and its only needed to transfer 1 time.

Amstelveen is a lovely wee place but being only 20 mins by car from Amsterdam centre you’ll want to go there. Amstelveen has local shops and amenities needed but there’s not a great deal to do in the area and not within walking distance.

I will write about my Room , I booked and paid for a studio XXL . They gave me room no. 013 . I think the room 013 is only XL and not XXL . Kindly check with them and your files . If they gave me only studio XL ,instead of XXL ,then I want a refund for the extra price I paid .
Thank you.

The hotel was conveniently located near a tram station. It was an easy ride into town. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The neighborhood is quiet. About a 10 minute walk down the street is a strip mall with some restaurants. We tried the kabob place while waiting to check in. It wasn't too bad. There is also a coffeeshop/gelato shop located there. That' the best part of the mall.

Very convenient location close to the airport with bus transportation right outside the property gates. Amstelveen looked like a lovely little town. Unfortunately we arrived late at night and had to leave first thing in the morning so did not have the opportunity to check out the area, restaurants, and night life.

You hardly see the next recommendation: walk up to the Kalfjeslaan and turn right, walking eastward (look it up on Google maps).
Walk all the way to the Amstel river and where you hit the river turn right (or have a cup of coffee and a portion "bitterballen" before you go on at the Kleine Kalfje =Small Calf), walk along the river and enjoy this typically Dutch landscape. Turn right at Machineweg MP until you hit Amstelveen again. This is a wonderful walk with sun or drizzle, not that much when it is raining.
The location is 15 minutes from Schiphol airport by taxi or bus No. 300. (best use the taxi). Amstelveen outlet is 5 minutes walk, plenty of restaurants and shops, if you want shopping - do it there.
Getting to Amsterdam center - use public transportation - very easy.
The room we got was one of the best rooms we ever had. A full family apartment, equipped with all you need.
I rate this place 10 I will come to this place again, if you come to Amsterdam - that where you should stay.
The staff were very helpful and nice. Additionally, the room was the perfect size for two people and our room was on a different building from the hotel which made living in Amsterdam more real. Moreover, it was always clean and although it may be a bit far from the City, we still made it everywhere with public transport, as the bus stop is 2 minutes away.
Hotel is 5 minute walking distance to the bus station and the Stadshart which has great open market on Fridays. Two minute walk, and you are in town with local restaurants and cozy neighborhood bars. The people who manage the hotel are very warm and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is good, the servers are caring and friendly.
The room was very comfortable and good size. The breakfast had an acceptable buffet. The place is clean and the staff is nice. The prices were reasonable. The parking next to the hotel is nice and has a fair price. Using the accommodation for sleep-only porpuses makes it a nice choice for Amsterdam visitors.
The room was a big size, the bathroom was excellent - great size, great fittings and the shower was probably the best I've had in a hotel. Free parking. Very close to public transport and easy to navigate to get to Amsterdam (for English only speaking traveller). Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent stay
I stay here on a regular bases due to the great service, friendly staff, good location and the facilities provided in the room. The hotel is well positioned close to the 300 bus stop which gets you quickly to Schiphol airport and the number 5 tram which gets you into the centre of Amsterdam.
very nice and clean hotel.
the location in Amstelveen about 30 mins from Central Station and the city center but you can find many transportations to get there.
good breakfast.
you will find many restaurants and supermarkets around.
the owner and his wife are very decent and cooperative .
Compare to money I wouldn't recommend this hotel because they don't have a single bottle water in the room. This hotel location in Amstelveen because of that Amsterdam daily transport ticket not usable in this area buses. If you stay there just use your credit card for transportation
We have searched for the hotel in the last minute. Super location - quiet, Amstelveen is great suburb of Amsterdam. Since we had car, we had no problems to travel to city center. Nice staff, beds very good, everything clean. Good breakfast - eggs, cheese, salami, jam - everything.
Nice and friendly staff, check-in & check-out without any problems. Nice and cosy camp houses, interior of the one we had is like a hotel room. Really close to the airport, about 20 minutes taxi ride to the center of Amsterdam, or about 30-45 minutes by public transport.
a very nice stay, very quiet and nice little breakfasts and drinks. The tram is close to get to Zuid then a transfer to another tram was easy and very fast (30 min) to get into the Center of Amsterdam, nice to relax a bit while getting back to hotel after a day out!
I loved the rabbits! I also liked that it’s not crowded like hotels usually are and it’s not as noisy as it would be closer to the city. Comfortable (and big!) parking spots and the drive to Amsterdam and the airport was short.
Its location is far from city center but kronenburg station is near to use trams. All flat was clean and luxury. especially bathroom was very nice. there were kind workers.
Great breakfast (only missing fresh squeezed juice) and friendly service. Bed was comfy and temperature was perfect. The location is only 10 min from tram into Amsterdam.
