Very nice city many old colonial-time buildings, do not miss the cathedral of senor de tabasco. Great food. It is a big city we used our car to get around and found good and free parking where required.

Villahermosa itself is of minimal interest to tourists - its main value is as a gateway to Palenque. It does however give you a snapshot of a provincial Mexican town, with music playing everywhere amidst the delapidated buildings.

Very good!
Very good! The Papagayo museum and the animal statutes park is a no miss for kids. Just avoid the trompoline there if you don't carry cash its 20 pesos for 15 min. The food park was amazing.
Burgers fresh fries freshly cut and price is affordable. Dont forget to try the Market for traditional menu. Vips is great for breakfast options. Im still overhere havin fund in a different hotel. OYO was the worse place i have ever spent a night in. First time I didn't leave a tip, been traveling for over 12 years..

Villahermosa has many times been a stopping point on several cross country trips. Each time it manages to dissapoint even more than before. Restaurants are constantly closed or if they are open they don't have half the menu, it's relatively dirty in the downtown, overall not a charming place like others in Mexico. The 1 night we stay is usually too long in our opinion.

The city is a bungled mess of weird areas, some shops selling nothing and 60's era malls that have little to nothing to offer. Or are mostly abandoned and only still in business because the supermarket or big box store didn't give up yet.
The exception to this was the Altabrisa Mall, which is modern, good looking, and actually has nice shops.
The zoo (parque la Venta) was nice.

Nice hotel. Clean and spacious.
Nice hotel. Clean and spacious. Parking is limited and closed at night. Breakfast was nice. Personnel failed to accommodate our request for a corkscrew - we needed to open a bottle of wine. Water in the shower was barely warm. "Hot" water was basically the same temp as the cold one.
ok,if you come with a dog, its a great place since its pet friendly and your dog can run around on the lawn and they can provide you with a kit for dogs. I was with my dog so all ok. But the rooms and facilities are kind of ran down and would need an overhaul. The glory days were lie 20 years ago for this hotel. Without a dog the place may be not so attractive. The breakfast buffet is OK, you can set out by the pool if you take your plate there. r
We got to stay at this lovely hotel with valet parking which was very handy. They were dog friendly and we stayed for 2 nights which included a buffet breakfast. The staffs were nice to me and my little family ( myself, husband and dog). We really enjoyed our stay. They were central, close to a dog park, the bed was comfortable and clean. The shower was nice and hot, the wifi was great and we really enjoyed our stay here so thank you so much! :-)
Location couldn't be any better, staff was super friendly and welcoming, very quiet even being right on the hottest spot in town, modern, well equipped, very clean, acceptable breakfast, good lights in the room, awesome views, stable and fast wi fi. Amazing price for what I got. Can't see how could be any better. Very happy I picked this hotel for my stay in Villahermosa. In such way that I ended uo extending my stay for a second night.
The property was nicely decorated and was a great room I was sold which I didn’t want.
I had booked a standard room to my budget of £1200
But the hotel sold my room to someone else on arrival even though I had sent a message in advance to say I was coming the following day. The only room that was available then was a suite and was late arriving to the hotel so had no choice but to pay £400 more which was inconvenient for me.
The rooms were nicely equipped but as mentioned I found them a bit sterile. And a nice touch is always the in room safe. But theirs was useless to me since they had it at floor level in the closet and being immature individual, I was not wanting to get on my hands and knees to read the instructions.
Bathroom was well equipped with towels ,hair dryer, etc. It had something I rarely see in Mexico and that was a washcloth.
Gabriel at the front desk was the most helpful a huge example to anyone in the hotel industry! Looe after my bags and let me stay 4 hours after checking out before getting my bus! Amazing person!
Within 2 minutes of all the essential places , very comfortable stay and would recommend! Air conditioning and wifi worked perfect!
This place is something like Holiday inn or similar european hotel. Clean, very comfortable beds (we had a king bed room). Clean sheets. AC working good and its new. Shower is hot and pressure good. We had no problems with elevator as we asked for a room on 3floor. Wifi is good. The private parking is very safe.
The facilities & cleaness. THe breakfast also was really good.
The location was good in terms of distance through downtown.
They have a very good restaurant outside the hotel to have dinner.
THe people at hotel is very professional
even though this hotel is in the centre of town it was quiet at night. Staff was friendly, the place had a kind of old fashioned, worn at the edges charm. The most important things for us was having our pets in the room with us.
Really great hotel and location, and we would highly recommend people to book. We found the restaurant staff more friendly than the reception staff. A great transit stop, with everything you need on the doorstep.
