The location was perfect. Right next to the market and 8 minute walk from the zocolo.
We had room 104. A few stairs to walk but no problem. The view was incredible. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
The pool was a bonus. Great service all round. The attached restaurant was amazing. I had the mole tamarinds ribs. Really top class food and again, the view was awesome.

Design, materials and finishings are very tasteful and of high quality - truly deserving the description 'Boutique de Diseno'. The beds are extremely comfortable. The bar has a good selection of alcoholic of and alcoholic drinks. The staff is lovely and helped me book a fantastic riding excursion (with Mister Chuy owner of the 'Rancho La Mision' en Juliantla) and posted trousers that I had tailored in a local shop...
Hotel William is the sister hotel of Agua Escondida and you have free use of its facilities (i.e. pool). Agua Escondida is just around the corner. It might be worthwhile checking out Agua Escondida (also very good but less 'design') as a better value option.

This hotel was so charming and cute, the rooms were clean and very well kept, the staff was amazing and so helpful, and the location was very central which meant that we could walk anywhere in the town really easily! In addition the little rooftop restaurant attached to the hotel was delicious and some of the best Chilaquiles I have ever had! Overall this place was great and I would highly recommend staying here!

the way the city sits on the mountain is fantastically beautiful. It's all white buildings, very charming. The town itself is interesting to visit for an afternoon, or a day. The streets are very crowded with cars and there is a lot of exhaust, there are also souvenir and silver shops everywhere, so it felt extremely crowded and touristy. great church and zocalo, worth visiting for a day. I don't think you need more time than that. Also the caves on the outside of town the Grutas de Taxco are fantastic and totally worth a visit.

Beautiful tourist town.
Beautiful tourist town. All the businesses of the town were accommodating to non-Spanish speakers, and many shop employees spoke at least a little English. There were many people in the town square who wanted to "guide" us to various things with the expectation that we would tip them, but we were able to say "no" without reprisal. Many soldiers and Federal police officers were on patrol in the town which proved to be good for keeping the populace safer. Prices of souvenirs, food, alcohol, taxis, and hotels was very reasonable.

The town reminded me of Spain...charming, rustic, and with an old-world air. Loved the town. Wish I could have stayed longer than two nights and seen more. I hope to return one day. It is now a favorite town in Mexico.
Beautiful colonial town. Exceptional architecture. The ones with some money or with big money, trying to cash in more and more on mass tourism, national and international, building 2 and 3 more 3 floors for renters on top of old colonial houses and hotels. Height of these constructions not so impressive from street level, but scary, considering earthquakes, when seem from bottom of hill.

My hotel room was a dream - The large balcony doors opening up to the most beautiful view, the expansive balcony space to enjoy the crisp mountain air. The bed was so comfy and being able to sleep with the doors open at night was fantastic.
The location is perfect - and the restaurant on the rooftop provided a wonderful space to spend my mornings reading.
Access to the pool and the grounds was a huge perk as the days were very hot.
Everyone there was so friendly, except for the peacock. She was not interested in conversing with me ;)
Great food in the restaurant. Amazing view and the entire property grounds. Big, clean room. Mine was by the pool that used every day. The terrace view is breathtaking and restaurant has amazing food and service. Makes you want to spend the whole day in there. Given the fact that this is one of the best hotels in Taxco, the prices are more than reasonable. I’m seriously planning to stay here again with my family next year.
Mountain views were spectacular! It was very peaceful and the hotel was charming & beautiful. Really enjoyed eating onsite at their restaurant as the food was delicious with gorgeous outdoor nature around you. Great place to take pictures and felt like a retreat. The staffs were friendly and helpful. Loved the fact the hotel was also dog-friendly and the bed was very comfortable. Well done!
Everything was very good. Friendly and helpful staff, charming location in heart of zócalo. The swimming pool feels secluded, yet offers beautiful views.
One guest decided to play very loud music at 7 am, and the hotel staff were quick to knock on their door to get them to stop.
Brand new property. Every appliance is new, the bedding is new. It does not have an elevator but the stairs are easy and few. There’s no parking on premises but the hotel does provide an affordable valet option. Every corner was spotless.
