This property was lovely, the rooms were spacious, clean and brilliantly located near the beach and a short walk from Taghazout village. There were plenty of sun beds both by the pool and on the beach and the breakfast was great. The sunset could be watched from our private hammock or in the beach bar. We also made the most of the free organised activities, yoga on the rooftop. All staff were attentive, particularly the person I liaised with before arriving who helped me book an excursion for sandboarding (which was a memory of a lifetime). Thank you to the person I liaised with who was so welcoming, patient and accommodating.

Want to go surfing in Morocco? You need to visit Taghazout Surf Village! A village on the coast of Morocco, not too far from Adagir. Taghazout is well-known for its surfing and its chilled-out hippy vibe but you don’t have to surf or be a pro surfer to enjoy Taghazout! I’m not and I loved it!

The vibe of Taghazout is just so peaceful, it's like the Mocorran Bali...
Also, we went on an adventure not far from there, to watch the sunset and surf on the sand dunes. It was just magical ! We also had the chance to make a campfire, the kids were so happy !
And last bu not least... you HAVE to taste the famous bananas ;)

This was a great warm place to visit In December.
This was a great warm place to visit In December. We were there only three nights, but found plenty to do especially trying out surfing with the dive school Snoopy who had a premises very close by up the road next to the Red cafe which was next to the Teapot cafe. We ate at the Teapot 2 or 3 times, it was excellent especially the chia and mango parfait, and avocado on soda bread. Lively town with loads of young laid back cool surfers and met only friendly people. We also enjoyed Windy Bay and World of Wave restaurants overlooking the main beach. The water was rough though but exciting to paddle in, and concerns for so many wild cats and dogs, and many gorgeous puppies roaming around. Also don’t expect clean beaches or well made roads and paths, but if you overlook that, you may find it as charming as we did.

A great place for surf and chill.
A great place for surf and chill.
Panorama is a good spot for beginners to intermediate and Anchor Point is where it happens if you're more advanced (and not scared of rocks and impose yourself in the line-up), there is also Banana Point and Devil's Rock down south within a 10 minutes taxi ride and Mysteries, Killer's Point and PK25 on the north to visit.
Taghazout itself got a bit touristic these last years (I mean you can now get Acaï bowl and there is a bunch of fancy coworking spaces to sleep and work) but it's still great to stay and there is a lot of option for food and activities. You'll also meet a lot of people from all around the world (mostly surfers obviously).
The sunset from the Skate park on top of the hill is also a must see and you can rent a skateboard in town.
If you want a more authentic atmosphere you can go to Imsouane which is a bit more remote, but Taghazout is still a very nice place to stay for a week or two.

Lovely hotel with great views overlooking the beach and ocean. Clean and spacious rooms, lovely pool and spa facilities that were not overly expensive.
Great selection of excellent food and they were even able to cater for my wheat intolerance (gluten free).
The staff were friendly, particularly the reception staff offering lots of information about local facilities and trips.
Abdel was very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay including many unexpected gestures of kindness and goodwill (sharing food, offering rides, etc.). The hostel was in a great location very close to the beach and restaurants, surfboards were available right from the hostel. Incredible views from the 2(!) chill terraces overlooking the bay. Nutritious, delicious cheap breakfast. This all made it easy to extended our stay! Thank you Abdel and Mustafa!
Everything was perfect from the check in till the check out.
The Location is great, beachfront, access to a walk for morning footing or night walk.
The staff are very welcoming, always smiling.
Facilities are very good, rooms are clean, even the daily housekeeping was great.
Breakfast was amazing, even the snack bar food was delicious.
Pool was heated so we enjoyed it all day.
Keep up the great work! We really loved our stay at the Hyatt regency taghazout!
Best rooftop views on Taghazout Bay with the nicest hosts Abdul and Tarik making you feel welcome like at your own home. The location is pretty central, just a couple minutes from the village center and all restaurants and cafes. Great vibes will await you and Guests from all over the world, make the Cosy Surf House to a magical place with World Class Surf Spots like Anchor Point and Panorama just around the corner.
Nice spot the owner was very nice. Not the most social hostal here but sometimes that’s how it goes again , good spot ! Nice people ! Think I might have caught one of the workers on his down days and that’s ok ! We all have them and we can’t love everyone !! I would
Recommend ! Taghazout is great ! Lots of neighbor kittens around the place that I had a really nice time bringing them food 🤍
This hotel has the best staff ever ! They are very friendly , less suscpecious than most hotels i ve known here in Morocco , Flexible and cool. Mr Aziz who manage the property is a very nice person . Also the hotel is clean and they have a beautiful terrace where you can have breakfast or dinner if you choose to . I recommend this place for solo travellers and couples .
Our second time at the Fairmont Taghazout Bay and it won't be our last. We loved everything about this hotel, the setting/design of the hotel, the beach location, staff are so friendly and accomadating, food was excellent and some real improvements from last year. This hotel is getting better and better and will be a hot spot as the word gets out!
The hotel was a one minute walk from the beach, the two terraces were great places for breakfast and hanging out at the end of the day, the rooms were absolutely pristine and the beds and comforters were really comfortable.
Best of all were the staff! They were so helpful in every way possible…one of them even loaned my son their skateboard!
i visited a lot of hostel in town, but this still the best . best quality , best breakfast , helpful and welcoming staff
the best chef in morocco they make the best food
actually i have the best experience in morocco because of those guys , i will come back again , thank you guys for everythings i appreciate , see you soon
I had a great time at BigBlue, the stuff were very friendly and helpful but the location was the best, right in the heart of Taghazout close to everything, I enjoyed the close beach (few steps from the hostel). There's also a rooftop terrace which has a mesmerizing view of the ocean and the whole village.
Jean Claude and Brahim were amazing. So considerate and couldn't do enough to support us all the way from booking, through to departure, they were both attentive and responsive.
The apartment is truly fantastic. Panoramic views of both Taghazout Bay and paradise Cove make this an exceptional location,
This hotel was beautiful for a stay by the beach for our two days surfing in Taghazout. It was secluded from the surf town and offered us peace and tranquility as we needed. Staff were lovely and helped us to our room and upgraded us for free. Room was super spacious.
This was an amazing place to stay. The front door of the hotel literally opens on to the beach. The views are incredible and the hotel offered some nice extras like luggage storage (so we could spend the day at the beach) and surf lessons
Breakfast was great. The bed was the best we had so far in Morocco and the room was amazing. Location also, we just expected Taghazout to have a little bit more to offer, but that has nothing to do with Munga guesthouse, which was great!
Beautiful facilities. We spent New Year there and the whole party, food and entertainment was amazing and fun! ... Great beach and helpful staff.
Close to Taghazout, where you can go surf or have a dinner in a nice restaurant
Mohammed, the host, is such a fun person, extremely nice, and very sociable. The house has a great view of the horizon/beach, also it is super comfortable and cozy. Taghazout is an incredible place, it is worth it visiting.
Warm welcome. Excellent location, 300m from beach. Sunny terrace. Easy and secure access to residential area. Close to Taghazout, Tamraght villages with cafes and shops and short ride to Agadir city.
The hostel is located at the top of the town, so the view from the terrace at the top was amazing to check for waves across Taghazout bay. I loved the interiors with colorful tiles everywhere!
