The location is very good. You are at the heart of the main street and very close to the beach. I think for a night stay in Jurmala, room is very good but I wouldn't do another night. Also, the building is very cute.

The time we visited the place was quite cold outside, we didn't manage to turn on the a/c or heater cos we got in in the middle of the night, so we were cold, but overall impression was good.

Lots of food and shopping on Jurmala street, but the whole area is very large so renting bikes or having a car is very important.
Summer would be much nicer but the autumn was very quiet and there were no crowds anywhere.

Jurmala is a must-visit when coming to Latvia.
Jurmala is a must-visit when coming to Latvia. The kilometeres long beach side just 20-30 minutes from Riga, easy to reach both by car and by train. First things to visit are most likely Majori, Dzintari and shopping/walking street that connects both of those places (which also stands for train stops when you buy train tickets). But also Bulduri and Dubulti are good areas to visit, especially if you are a fan of architecture - Jurmala has its own unique style of wooden architecture houses, some of them have been reconstructed and can be perfectly seen between streets (Morbergs summer house is the best example of this). There are plenty of good 4 and 5 star hotels in the center - with good SPA's and restaurant. The best outside restaurant could be "Line 36" - with one of the best Latvian chefs. For active attractions my best suggestion is Livu Aqua Park - inside water attractions park, one of the biggest in Baltics, quite pricey but good for a fun day, especially with kids. There are lots of nature to explore around the city, but all in all I would say that outside the summer season the city will surprise you with the pleasant calmness and fresh air.

We couldn't find anyplace where we could walk the dog on the beach. In general, I didn't get the impression that dogs are appreciated there. Our 5kg Havanese seemed too much for a beach walk in October--even on the leash.

Nice town with long beach near Riga.
Nice town with long beach near Riga. A varitey of restaurants and leisure activities are available.
Unfortunately the summer seasons ends mid of august so that as late august traveler the beaches and town seem a little like a ghost town and a lot of restaurants, activites etc. are already closed

great location, right on the beach with every possible facility available. a short walk to the shopping area where we bought souvenirs and had coffee. The hotel restaurant had an exclusive feel and the food was excellent. We will definitely return again.
Extremely recommended apartment at Naiza Guesthouse. Very spacious, clean and well equipped. Quiet and with fantastic location just 15 minute walk from the main restaurant and shopping street and from the beach. Kitchen with gas stove (big plus) and available cleaning cervice upon request (included in the price). Nadjejda is very nice and happy to help. Another plus is that you could darken the apartment completely for those who are light sensitive and the bed is very comfortable too. Big sofa in the living room! A definite 10/10!
It's a perfect hotel in a calm place near the sea. We liked that the rooms are clean, beds comfortable. In the room we find a small freezer, large balcony. Especially thank you to the administrator, who was very careful and helpful in all ways we needed, for example, where to find a medicine shop or how and where to pay for coming to Jurmala.
Breakfast was quite good for adults and for kids. I think we'll go back to this hotel next summer. Our best recommendations.
Stylish room, good soundproofing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Additional respect to the cleaning girls working on 20 July, they were only two and did their job perfectly, considering fully packed hotel. Surprisingly hotel do have big closed yard with playground for children and restaurant terrace(working for breakfast only). Located near the sea and the beach in this area is not overcrowded👌
Great location, five minutes walk from the beach on the one side and the same on the other side to the main city street. Owner of that place is really kind, he helped us with our luggage because our room was on the first floor. Supermarket is really close, it’s on the main street. Bed is really comfy. They are changing towels in the bathroom every day no matter if you used them or not.
A cosy apartment with a comfortable bed and bath (which is rare in many apartments/hotels now). The TV channels have a great variety, we were pleased to get MTV 80s/ MTV 90s. The location is right in the centre of Jurmala and not far from the beach, either. The host Kristīne was helpful and friendly by explaining us how to do a self check-in
We had a wonderful time at the hotel. Their spa facilities are amazing and the idea of serving beverages in the pool just blows my mind - a proper holiday feel for sure. The room was lovely, spacious and there were a couple of bottles of complimentary water on arrival - a small gesture, but it did make a difference.
Excellent location. Got nice balcony. Nice staff. In rooms you have cups, dishes, forks, spoons, microwave, electric kettle. Compact rooms friendly for couples,. Can take your pet with yourself, but cannot leave alone tho. Price for offer. River Lielupe just near the hotel, where you can swim freely.
Jurmala SPA met all my expectations: room was cozy and clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast was very tasty, just had to wait a little bit to get free table.
I had 2 lunches in the hotel restaurant and it was also delicious.
There is a construction in front of the hotel and it can be noisy.
The space was extremely clean on arrival. It had all the necessary amenities including a fully equipped kitchen. I loved the quiet surroundings and the uncrowded and peaceful beach nearby. It was also easily accessible by public transport - just a quick walk to the train station.
Very nice, spacious and quiet apartment. Well equipped. Very clean. Nicely located between the beach and just few steps from Jurmala promenade with restaurants, bars and shops. Nearby park. Private parking. Lovely stay in Jurmala!
Typical wooden house of Jurmala. Close to the Concerthall, beach, Jomas pedestrian street. Friendly staff. There is refrigerator in the room, kettle, two caps. Beds are comfortable. There is cafe in the hotel with good prices.
The apartment has everything a traveler might need: perfect for a few days, still good for a couple of months. The beach is within a five minutes walk. The bed is very comfortable. Everything works well.
Provided that beach season in jurmala is very short, I am surprised how well this hotel is ran. Most things are comparable or better than many 5star hotels in Mediterranean. Well done to the management
Clean and spacious. Good size bathroom. Spa was also good, especially the saunas. Good staff at the spa, too. Free parking next to the hotel. Close to the beach. The bed was firm but ok.
Hotel is located very close to the beach. It was possible exchange the room with a air conditioner because the 2 floor room didn't have it. SPA was excellent.
