The rooms and staff were impeccably neat and good. Staff was very helpful and tended to all your needs. We didn't like the menu but they offered us srilankan food consisting of rice, curry, dal, different kinds of vegetables, papad and dessert. The food was lip smacking. We were beyond satisfied with the stay

Fantastic little campsite in the middle of the Sri Lankan bush, only accessible by 4WD. Head in here and feel the serenity. With just the two tents it's a small, perfectly-formed operation run by the wonderful host Nero, who not only looks after your every need but whips up amazing meals in his little camp kitchen, served on a table under the stars, with a bonfire to complete the magic. In the morning Nero took us on a safari in the nearby Yala National Park, which was magical at sunrise. Highly recommended.

This is such a special place to stay! We saw loads of wildlife around the property and out on the Safari. We booked two jungle family rooms for our family of 4 and they were spacious, clean and comfortable. The food was decent, drinks were yummy, and the service was great. They don't play music at the pool or restaurants and so you become attuned to all of the nature sounds around you. It's a wonderful place and great value!
"Yakaduru Yala is located on the buffer Zone of Yala National Park. It’s Just 5 minutes away from the Yala National Park Entrance.

We visited Yala for two days (with two separate game drives - one evening and one morning one) and although we enjoyed the animals we observed, we did not have any sightings of leopards despite being the national park with the highest concentration in the world. But that is nature so we were just unlucky on those days. However, the most disappointing aspect of Yala was the sheer number of vehicles allowed into the park at one time. As soon as elephants or leopards are sighted, drivers communicate among themselves and vehicles all rush to the scene creating a massive traffic jams. This makes it feel very mass market and doesn’t seem very respectful of the wildlife

Terrible time. No wild animals as expected.
Terrible time. No wild animals as expected. Roads are all around the jungle which is pretty disturbing to the wild life. After all it is supposed to be a protected zone for wild life. Jeeps are crawling every corner of the territory. Amused to see all of that disturbing scenes in a wild life protected zone. It's like business zone. Poor animals.

I loved Yala.
I loved Yala. The number of different animals seen was slightly disappointing but apparently wash outs due to rain prevented us from accessing some internal roads. The sunrise and scenery were stunning. I would rate it as good value despite the lack of animals. The whole experience was wonderful.

The national park in Yala is beautiful however it is hard to drive around as the roads are poorly maintained. There is a large populatin of birds and i think this safari would suit bird watchers more than those who want to see the elephants. The 6am -6pm safari is too long.
Sigiriya is far superior when it comes to large herds of elephants.

The hike in the nature reserve was amazing, we saw lots of amazing animals and landscapes.
Were lucky and we were able to meet the tiger as well.
It is important to note that the trip should take drinks and food, the hotel staff where we were did not tell us the length of the trip and did not make sure to let us know that we should take care of ourselves.
Of course we were smarter and brought with us the necessary equipment ..
But there were those next to us who did not and that was unfortunate

We stayed at Laya Beach resort which was very beautiful and was very close to our safari's which made our stay even better.
The beach, however, was too rough to swim which was a little disappointing.
We loved our stay. We were in Yala just one night and took advantage of the pool the first day and booked a safari for the next morning.
The hotel is wonderfully clean and well maintained.
But what was even better was the staff. We are both vegans and the staff did everything right for the dinner. We got a full set meal rice and curry with 6 different currys - even soy meat curry! And this was just perfect.
The sundown from our hotel room was just insane btw.
They also gave us a vegan breakfast to take with us on the safari!
Everything about this hotel was excellent. The location amid the Yala National Park is ideal for any wildlife enthusiast. The Staff is very attentive and friendly and their service was beyond expectations. The food was superb (Kudos to the chef) and had a very good Variety. The hotel Naturalists has very good knowledge about the wildlife in Yala and would definitely recommend going on a Safari with them. Overall the experience at Cinnamon wild was away beyond our expectations and would definitely go again whenever we can.
My stay at Leopard Nest Yala Glamping was exceptional. The staff welcomed me warmly and made me feel at home from the start. The tents were luxurious, offering stunning views and all the comforts one could ask for. What impressed me most was their dedication to sustainability and wildlife conservation. The guided safari through Yala National Park was unforgettable, especially seeing a leopard in its natural habitat. I highly recommend Leopard Nest Yala Glamping for anyone seeking a memorable adventure in Sri Lanka.
We had the most magnificent stay at Hilton Yala. Everything was perfect. You could really see that the hotel was newly built, everything in the room was perfect and designed to perfection and the rooms are very spacious. The personal was also super helpful and very friendly and catered all of our wishes. We even had the chance to see an elephant only a few meters away while we were laying on the pool and he entered the property which was amazing! Would definitely go back immeadiately.
The Hilton Yala was a very unique state of the art property in the middle of a National Park!
The hotel grounds, pool, architecture, and overall layout were stunning and something we haven’t experienced before.
However what made this one of the most memorable experience for us is the amazing and ever smiling staff right from the reception, kitchen, and room service staff.
Their executive chef was always there smiling and greeting the guests which made this super special!
Wild Culture Yala was a very warm, welcoming hotel with a great restaurant, pool and friendly staff. The room was big and comfortable, with air con, great shower and was very clean.
WiFi connection was good.
Restaurant was delicious, the packed lunch for safari was fine and plentiful.
Really nice pool, pool bar, archery, croquet, air rifles
The hotel also organised us a safari, which was 30 mins drive from the hotel to gate 1.
Suresh was a great host and very attentive.

Fantastic property with stunning scenes even as you enter, and as you walk around = on a beach, near a jungle (national park) and with a few mountains in the background; Excellent night sky views when not cloudy
Swimming pool looked superb (but we didn't end up using)
Rooms are large and have great amenities including fast wifi across the hotel
Good value for money
Great location if you plan to safari as it’s right in the Yala national park. Secluded so once here you have to use all the hotel amenities but they’re excellent so no complaints here. The food and service was superb throughout our 2 night 3 day stay. Would recommend if visiting Yala national park for sure.
Amazing villa and quiet location. Was a great escape -- large and spacious, fun pool for the kids, and really close to Yala. The host and staff were all extremely friendly and accommodating. Could not have asked for a better experience and highly recommend.
My friends and me had a very nice stay in this hotel. The house was clean, calm, and the staff was really nice. We took the safari trip to yala with them also and we don’t regret it. It was really well organised and the guide was so motivated! So go for it!
- very very friendly staff, they’re the reason the place is good
- the hotel manager & a person called “baba” were very nice & attentive. We forgot one bag there, they called me & delivered it to us in our other hotel, which we’re very thankful for
Staff were very nice especially the camp manager. Staff do go above and beyond to try to ensure a great experience. Location is remote and it was nice to give a different experience to our kids instead of resorts and hotels.
A charming and beautiful hotel in a peaceful location. Excellent food. Very friendly and supportive staff. I have travelled all over Sri Lanka, and I can sat that this place is one of the cleanest and most comfortable places.
Good quiet and calm zone, just by the Yala National Park. Great pool and good breakfast. Staff didn't speak or understand very much english, but they we're nice and helpful. Bed was comfy and WiFi worked well.
