Nice location Rooms have fantastic views. Friendly staff and tasty food. For the first time I saw a lady chef in the restaurant. That is so awesome and she was great. Staff was very friendly with our kids.

We enjoyed three wonderful nights at the guesthouse. The room was good, with good beds, a good shower and some extras like a table, several chairs and a rack to hang your cloth. Good airco too. Wonderful owner and his wife, who did everything to make you feel comfortable. They arranged a safari for us in Wilpattu, on our request, and they did that in a honest and efficient way, without trying to get something out of it for themselves. Very reliable and friendly service.

    I have just stayed for a day because I didn’t want to spent around 25 dollars for the ancient cite. But I have walked around and prayed in Siri Maha Bodhi Tree area which is a massive and fascinating place! I have visited some other places such as Isurumuni Royal Temple and even sat down in front of the meditation stone and meditated there for a bit and it’s a very chanting place to be!

    The old city and temple complex is huge and takes a long time to walk around. In many parts you are not allowed to wear shoes or hats, so if you don’t want burnt feet, take some socks and wear sunscreen and carry water.

    1) No hot water in the shower.

    1) No hot water in the shower. 2) A whirring / drilling noise that kept me up all night, perhaps coming from one of the hotel pumps / generators from above. When I enquired about this at reception I was told that “the hotel was full” and my questions as to what it could be were rebuffed with a “goodnight”. 3) There were no batteries in the remote for the tv. 4) Which didn’t make much difference as the tv didn’t work anyway when I swapped out the batteries for the air con. 5) The air con worked but didn’t turn down meaning that I had to constantly turn it on and off. 6) The swimming pool had safety issues in that the side of the pool had a suction hole which sucked people in if they got close. Thankfully it was only me that discovered it and not the kids. 7) our drivers quarters were full of cockroaches and he was asked to give up his fan for a “guest” half way through the night.

    Anuradhapura is ancient city in Sri Lanka .There are plenty of places to visit in Anuradhapura. Ruwanweliseya is one of the best remarkable place in the world because lord buddha's spiritual value hidden inside there. All Buddhist and non Buddhist people should visit there .

    It’s a cultural centre but also a real living city, the hosts introduced us to people and we ate at a nice restaurant for ‘locals’. Joining our guide for a temple evening was a surprise and wonderful. The old railway buildings are interesting and watching a monitor lizard strolling down the street was very cool. And of course the ancient city - unmissable. Honestly I’d rather stay here than rush off to the beach.

    Fantastic stay at Nimal's. We arrived at 6pm at Nimal's, we could park our tuctuc in his little front yard. It was our first night in Sri Lanka and the next day was going to be our first full day. He organized us a way to see all the best places in Anuradhapura and everything was very nice and very convenient. The room was big and well equipped. In a quiet area of the city but still close to good restaurants. Great to chat with him and get advice for the rest of our trip! Thank you very much!

    Homestay Camping was my home in Anuradhapura. I’ve experienced such warm welcoming from the family and that- I will never forget. The beds in the tent are surprisingly comfortable, location is superb to explore both Anuradhapura & Mihintale, and the home cooked meals were simple but healthy and delicious. I highly recommend staying here to experience true Sri Lankan hospitality and be surrounded by nature. I wish I stayed for longer.

    The Myro homestay is the ideal place to stay if you’re going to Anuradhapura. The view is stunning and the room was perfect: clean, good bed, AC. They also helped us with booking a temple tour and the wilpattu Safari. The lady who organised everything, did it perfectly and was very friendly. And on top of all this, the food is very good too. Nice breakfast en delicious dinner. 10/10 would recommend this place.

    What stood out the most during our stay here was the exceptional service from all staff- we are especially thankful to Herath who was constantly making an effort to make our stay more comfortable! We also loved all the meals, especially the fish dishes! The view during sunrise was a memorable one - highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a place in Anuradhapura!

    Brand new venue with Breathtaking views.Undoubtedly the most beautiful hotel in Anuradhapura. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food, clean and spacious rooms.     This is definitely a very good value for money stay in Anuradhapura. The staff is very helpful and kind, the Sri Lankan breakfast was very generous and tasty. They are very flexible with check-in and check-out timing. They can arrange tuk tuks to visit the Sacred city (one of them is Comar, he’s the best) and taxis to go to other cities.

    Viraj was a great host, he organised some bicycles for us to get about the city, and even offered some free lifts to the bus station. Took the time to upgrade our room for a very reasonable price. His hotel is beautiful and in a nice quiet location just the right distance away from the hustle and bustle of Anuradhapura.

    Everything about this place was perfect. Very close proximity to all the places in puja city- Anuradhapura. Easy access, good parking.     After two years we came back to spend a bit more time in Anuradhapura. We like the spacious rooms, the view - have a drink at the rooftop! The family and staff are very nice people. We had breakfast and dinner. Try the Sri Lankan breakfast! If you need a Tuktuk tour or driver - ask for Manju!

    I am wordless about that hotel. We visited 8 cities in Sri Lanka and this hotel was the best. Staff was so cute and helpful. They gave us very good advices about city. Loved this hotel
