Everything. We booked it at 10pm from Okinawa the night before, took the ferry the morning after and we had an employee communicating with us throughout the journey to tell us that they will pick us up at the port, and proposing activities with them as well as booking for us a restaurant to have dinner. This was completely unexpected and such a sweet treat and experience overall. The person was super sweet, let us rent some snorkelling gears for the day, gave us advice for the best places, and we had a private snorkelling adventure the morning after, just perfect as well. We saw a turtle, crystal blue water, it was such a beautiful experience for only one night last-minute stay. Cannot recommend enough! The bedroom was spacious and super comfortable with a nice view and very clean. The traditional Japanese breakfast in the morning was the cherry on the top for the full experience! The personnel let us shower after the check out, providing us with amenities and towels just after the snorkelling trip and before catching our ferry back to Okinawa.

The view, the staff, the facilities, the convenience - everything was amazing!
My room was beautiful and the hotel is moments from the dock. I rented an eScooter from them and got to tour the most amazing sights, then had an amazing dinner here in the evening!
The staff were super-friendly, patient, and helpful, and made a foreign traveller feel very welcome on their island! Worth every yen!

STAFF! AMAZING FRIENDLY STAFF, ALL OF THEM!
The food is really good as well!!!
We got to see turtles at Ama Beach which was wonderful.
We got to see turtles at Ama Beach which was wonderful. We also rented an electric ‘car’ for 4 hours ($50) and were able to ride around the entire island. The accommodation (Blue Marine) was conveniently located and the breakfast and dinner (included in our arrangement) were top-notch. We especially appreciated the delicious fresh sashimi each evening with our meal. Taguchi-san created a great variety of delectable meals.

Take food with you if you are going off-season!!!!
It’s very difficult to find food. There are two small stores selling snacks/ beer but that’s about it. Oh, the fresh seafood takeaway place is open early and sells very delicious ( and huge) onigiri plus fried fish ( ONE PIECE=¥100). There’s nothing else open in the morning.

better beaches than Aka and that Tokashiki for a normal...
better beaches than Aka and that Tokashiki for a normal beach use. For diving perhaps Aka is better
Port should have more and cleaner facilities for the travellers
300 yen for a 7 minute ride from the port to the beach in a crowded old bus without air condition sounds like a great business for the service operator.

Loved Zamami.
Loved Zamami. Furuzamami had the most amazingly clear water and coral. Village has a nice feel with many restaurant options. Be sure to reserve as we saw many people being turned away as Restaurants were full. We liked Zamami more than Tokashiki. We did diving with JoyJoy who were great with our 12 year old son who had never dived before.

Lovely place for fun with friends or relaxing on your own.
Lovely place for fun with friends or relaxing on your own. It's just a 50 mins boat ride from Naha, but you need to properly check the ferry schedules because they only have limited number of trips to and fro. Their english website also needs to be updated for events, because when we went there (18-19May), most of the restaurants were closed due to Zamami Cup. But we still had a lot of fun on the beach and the sea! Zamami is a good place for sunbathing, snorkelling, glass-bottom-boat riding, stargazing, and walking around town. I would've loved to try the yoga paddle board.

We stayed on Aka, Zamami's smaller neighbour.
We stayed on Aka, Zamami's smaller neighbour. There is one beautiful swimming beach and a tiny town with guesthouses and maybe 2 cafes.
It's perfect if you want to get away from it all and enjoy a slice of paradise
Lovely little hotel, 2 minutes walk from one of the main beaches and snorkelling spots. The room was very comfortable and clean, it had everything we needed. A lovely little balcony and area to sit out and gaze at the stars. The restaurant area was lovely too and the food was great. We had breakfast and dinner there.
The owners were fantastic so friendly and helpful with everything. They picked up and dropped us off at the port without any issue. Highly recommend staying here and would happily stay here again next time we’re in Zamani.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Tsukasa and Kumar both made sure that everything was taken care of and they would arrange car pick-ups to the beaches, and also the ferry, as we had luggage to carry. The hotel is in a good quiet location, but still very close to the ferry and bars and restaurants. The lovely Furuzamami Beach is 15mins walk away. We had a big spacious clean room with a small balcony and en-suite bathroom at the hotel.
Spacious room, comfy beds and good shower, in a quiet part of the island with a view from the balcony, super friendly staff, awesome breakfast and dinner at the restaurant! A short walk from the beach and also a walkable distance to Chishi observation deck with amazing views of the northern cliffs of Zamami! Would recommend staying here for a more secluded feel compared to staying in the main town!
I truly enjoyed my stay here at Kanasuba Zamami. Their lovely garden was quiet and beautifully arranged. The owners and employees have a friendly and thoughtful way of treating their guests -from the oldest to the youngest guests. The breakfast was artfully created with each dish offering a special quality. Highly recommend this to a traveler with is looking for a beautiful Japanese experience.
A 5-min walk from Zamami port in a quiet neighborhood with two eateries on either side.
We could walk to either AMA beach or Furuzami beach in about 20 minutes.
This place is perfect for those who want a genuinely laid-back , rustic but CLEAN and reasonably priced accommodation with the option of staying in a small, private room like we had.
Thank you to the kind staff. Zamami is the best!
Great place to stay luckily found it. I wanted to stay on Aka as it has many different places to explore and it planned out well.
Can go to Zamami for a day too
Room was nice and clean and very comfortable I felt i wS at home. Host is great to helping out and friendly.
Location is just 2-3 mins from port so easy to access
Well it was memorable trip
Lovely and helpful hosts make you immediately feel welcome and at home at Yadokari. The location is incredible (200m from a beach where we observed turtles every day), the island itself is simply beautiful. Last but not least: every single meal has been extraordinary! Thank you so much and see you next time
Very relaxing location. We asked the staff to book tours last minute and they made it happen. They also made restaurant bookings and had great recommendations.
The room was a bit small, but clean, modern and quiet. The rooftop jacuzzi was great.
The staff picked us up at the ferry.
Such lovely owners, so helpful and made booking trips on the island so easy for us, the food was delicious for breakfast and dinner, lovely relaxed atmosphere at the guesthouse, very clean and good facilities, within a few minutes walk to Ama beach which was great for snorkelling
the employee who Checked us in was so informative. she used a translator and gave us information about the entire island, about restaurants and water activity rentals. the room was very clean and spacious. it’s perfect for a weekend stay with your spouse or friends.
Murata-san provides port pick-up and all the necessary information about Zamami. The location is great, the room has a refrigerator and an electric kettle. The shower and bathroom are separated from the room but clean and comfortable. Price is affordable.
This was not as expected, and for what you god - I don’t think it’s worth the money!
The location is great, ATM, bikerent and a grocery store - all just within a few minutes walk. The Island has the most beautiful beaches 20 min walk away.
the staff! some of the most hospitable hosts I’ve ever had! so nice and helpful!
we got it last minute with low expectations, but now this will be our first choice for zamami! so much better than AMA beach cabins!
Absolutely everything about this hotel was amazing. This was my second time staying here and I loved it even more. The best part was the food!!! Breakfast and dinner were so yummy and delicious!
Exceptionally kind, welcoming and courteous staff! We had an amazing stay and were blown away by the incredible personell, hotel, the scenery and beautiful, calm beaches. We even saw turtels!
The guest house is located conveniently a couple of minutes walk from the ferry port. Rooms are basic, but adequate. They serve a good Western-style breakfast.
The host is a kind and friendly person, which welcomed us at the ferry and help us carry the luggage from the ferry to the accomodation. He is also kinda fun.
