The property is beautiful and our room was very well appointed and comfortable. The host is charming and helpful. We loved the location outside of town, on the edge of the countryside. There is a very nice rooftop terrace with nice views, including Etna. Finally, there is a good restaurant just down the street for dinner (La Locanda del Carrettiere).

Roberto amd Alessia were excellent hosts! This is a new property and very quaint and small, so you get lots of attention! Bravo! Bathroom is very large, shower too! Wonderful stay!!

We discovered that Bronte is not a walkable town, not a place that can be easily explored on foot like the many other Sicilian towns we visited. The hills are very steep, there are no sidewalks and there are no taxis in Bronte. I can’t emphasize that enough… no taxis in Bronte! The bus and train do not run on Sundays, so if you don’t have a car and are scheduled to depart on a Sunday, you will be stranded or will have to pay big money for a driver to come get you (our experience). We booked three months ago for the pistacchio festa.
We booked three months ago for the pistacchio festa. Shortly before we arrived we learned the festival had been moved to a later date. We were unable yo change our plans. If you’re not there for the festival, there’s no reason to go there. There are no taxis in Bronte.

Actually, the pasteceria, bakery ist an excellent touristic attraction it self. We hat a room with a view to the Mount Etna from our balcony. And being situated at the entrance to the town, the hotel is well located for those, who plans to travel to the national park Etna. The room is spacious, good for a family or group of 3 persons.

Also that the room had a heater to have warm temperature und dry clothes (a lot of other rooms in sicily are very cold in this season). The unlimited hot shower was also great in this season. (other rooms in sicily had just 30 seconds hot water). Breakfast was great in a hotel nearby. The host where very helpful, flexible und extremly friendly.
