The room was slightly bigger than expected, the beds were okay, the whole structure was dated but clean. It's okay for very short stays, close to the Fiera.

Bolzano is one of those cases that are difficult to describe without risking undermining its beauty and complexity. A witness of the conflicts and renaissance of Europe, this Italian city is the capital of the German speaking province of South Tyrol. Located in the Adige River Valley, it is surrounded by hills crowned by castles, and framed by the Dolomites Alps.
After reaching the local railway station, follow the Bahnhofsallee or Viale della Stazione and you’ll reach Walther Square, where the beautiful Cathedral of the Assumption of Our Lady is located. The shops along the arcaded street of Via dei Portici will lead you towards the market, located in Goethe Strasse. The display of colourful vegetables and flowers encompasses the beautiful buildings, while some of the best luxury hotels in Bolzano are located nearby.
The city is famous for its Christmas Market, but be aware that most of the hotels in Bolzano get sold out quickly during this time! A stroll around the old residential quarter of Gries and a visit to the many nearby castles is a must.
Whether you arrive at the local Dolomites Airport or the larger Verona Airport, check out the Bolzano accommodation deals on Booking.com before travelling!
Characterful town with interesting shops and restaurants.
Characterful town with interesting shops and restaurants. Also museums and places of cultural interest. Cable cars, buses, and trains all a reliable way of accessing the countryside and towns nearby like Merano.
An all year round place - summer and winter.

It was so much better than we expected.
It was so much better than we expected. Perfect combination between Austrian and Italian culture. You could eat schnitzels ánd pasta in almost every restaurant. Not too touristy (we went in September). Within 15 minutes you could go to the mountains by cable car for little money. The mountains (via Oberbozen for example) were very beautiful, wide and quiet. You could take a 100 year old tram in Oberbozen that went through the little villages up the mountains. 100% coming back! Tip: go by train! It was very accessible, we came from Innsbruck which is only a 2 hr train ride from Bolzano, including breathtaking views.

We loved the South Tyrol Museum of Archeology, the MMM Fermian and the victory monument. Oberon Restaurant was an outstanding Pizza place and the staff are friendly too. We stayed at the Roma Ariston Apartments' and we had a great time there. The mountains around Bolzano were super cool and we highly recommend Bolzano.

Bolzano is very beautiful.
Bolzano is very beautiful. The cathedral is simply out of the world and the little roads and side alleys are beautiful. We took a guided tour of the city and could go into mamy pretty courtyards and churches and renovated palaces...

I stopped at St Mary's rooms and apartments, I paid 5 euros for secure parking in their garage. I went down the next morning and found that the luggage panniers on my motorbike had been broken into. Spoilt my time there, as it was supposed to be secure parking, had to spend the rest of my day there at police station sorting it out. Would not recommend this place. Bolzano is a lovely place to visit, but not this accommodation

There was a music festival going on where I could see a lot of people wearing traditional clothing and play music. I also spontaneously visited the theatre which was a good experience. As the city has a moderate size everything is pretty close by. I also enjoyed the variety of food offered which is from typical regional one to italian. I can recommend Humus Bistro and Nussbaumer. And the best is the landscape as Bolzano is surrounded by these huge mountains. I also went to Oberbozen by cable car and did a hike to bee museum Plattner and attended Yoga classes from arise Body & Mind in Yoga room as well as in the park of Mondschein hotel. I also saw a lot of people biking. I can defined imaging to come back and do that next time.
The hotel is located in the very centre of the city, and in few minutes of walk to the central train station and the cable car station.
The price included the city card that grants free access to the public transport of Bolzano area (incl. cable car and historical train line in Oberbozen). Though, not sure this is a permanent offer.
The breakfast was also great, even though no eggs were served. The personnel was super-friendly.
Perfect location in the middle of the city center.
It's not a bad place if you're staying just a few nights. However, if you plan on staying in Bolzano for a while, you might just want to book a hotel.
I would definitely stay here again
This was an amazing place to stay, not only in Bolzano, but in all our years of travel. Not your typical hotel, but a historic building with amazing rooms.. I cannot recommend this place more highly!!! Thank you for an incredible stay!
Perfect location, one of the better breakfasts I've had in all of Europe, super friendly staff, honor bar for late night nightcap. Hotel Feichter is exactly why I search out smaller family run hotels. Not fancy, just simply perfect.
The hotel provided a free travel ticket, which enabled us to take the bus into the centre of Bolzano. You could also use the ticket on any public transport, including the cable car to the top of the mountain!
The location was wonderful, in a beautiful neighborhood. The host, Manuel, was exceptional. He was professional, organized and helpful. He was the best host we had in our 3 weeks in Italy.
New hotel, brand new facility and in the city center of Bolzano. The hotel is family owned and run. The experience was very good, all smooth. Plus, the building is an architectural piece !
Huge room, staff especially friendly, unbeatable location and direct access to the hotel from the garage. Great!
I loved Bolzano and when I come back I’ll do it in this hotel. No doubt.
Hotel is easily reached by car and offers free secure parking.
Location is within easy and reasonable walking distance of all sights in Bolzano.
Excellent breakfast.
Good sized room.
We got the free Bozen card and an explication how to use it.
Therefore we could reach the hotel which is situated not in the Centro easily. But the hotel is in a nice part of Bozen.
Great hotel with a lovely breakfast. We were there in winter and the heating and hot water were great. The Christmas markets and many shops and restaurants just outside the door.
A superb hotel with excellent breakfast and lounge for evening relaxation. Location was great, parking was available, for a good rate in terms of Bolzano.
