Ally met me at the door and provided a little tour over the property which is just next door to her main residence. The unit was sparkling clean: a comfortable mini-bedroom and kitchenette equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal.
Ally is a very welcoming and attentive host: she would follow up later in the day to make sure you have everything for a good stay. This is a perfect accommodation for a solo traveller.

I can't say this accommodation was perfect, but I would definitely stay again because the experience was incredible. The buses have been transformed into lodging in a very creative way, and the views through the windows are amazing. The host was very friendly, and the space with the toilets and showers was functional and warm. On my trip around Iceland, I stayed in better accommodations, but Esjan has a unique charm.
