Stayed at hotel Bekal International two nights. Very pleasant and worth cherishing experience. The manager Mr Mohammed Abbas, a very friendly person ensured that our stay was comfortable. He helped in identifying places of tourist interest and proper mode of transport to such places economically. The Hotel has excellent housekeeping system and staffs are very cooperative and prompt in offering their service. My room was very clean and had beautiful ambience. The food was delicious. However for those who prefer to stay for two or more days will find the same menu for breakfasts a bit disappointing.

One thing that my family and I will always rave about is the hospitality. My son had a minor injury, the concern displayed by the staff was something which is rare these days. Right from taking us to a hospital to sending tasty delicacies to cards, they made us feel at home. The entire staff from the ones at Reception, to the F&B team to Housekeeping Team and not to forget the Chefs - they are one of the best people you can ever come across. They will walk many extra miles to ensure that your stay is memorable.

Bekal is a very peaceful little town by the Arabian sea.
Bekal is a very peaceful little town by the Arabian sea. It is only one and a half hour journey by local train from Mangalore. For me it was a perfect place to enjoy some solitude without compromising with urban conveniences. The Bekal beach is very beautiful, as well as peaceful, without disturbances of a crowd that is typically found in sea-sides. So if one wants to enjoy a weekend by a tranquil and peaceful sea, Bekal is a place to go.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Taj Bekal.
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Taj Bekal. I might have expected a little more from the room- the bathroom light was flickering and tub was leaking- for the price we pay.. careful next time maybe, Taj? The service was impeccable. We tried all restaurants and the food was great! We had an early morning flight to catch and they even surprised us with packed food! Brill, would definitely go again!

Annually, we try to take this experience on our Marriage Anniversary. It has been an 'A' class service and satisfaction for us. Taj Bekal is an unique property with wonderful property manager - Manu and other staffs. He is very cordial and prompt in dealings with guests. The spa service is also an amazing addition. 1. A grade service 2. Quality of breakfast is the best 3. Sadya feast is an amazing experience. I ate it with closed eyes :) 4. Safety experience at beach is awesome Simply loved it!

Great rooms at affordable prices.. Have stayed in over 7 properties at Kasaragod, but this time I felt good value for money. The property is quite new and well maintained.. the staff are very polite and cooperative, always with a smile. The main highlight is how close it is to Bekal Fort, less than 300 m and wouldn’t take more than 3 mins by walking. Rooms designs and colors are also good along with all amenities 👍🏼

the location! it’s fantastic! only a state-run body can pull off such a location. (shrigo has taken the place on a long term lease is what we understood). it’s proximity to the bekal fort and the national highway was awesome for public transport users like us. there are good restaurants in close vicinity. we walked to Apple (towards north) and Sinan (towards south) for our food requirements.

The location was just perfect for us as we were 3 girls travelling. It was a 10 min walk to the Red moon beach and 2 mins from Bekal Fort. Multiple restaurants near the stay so we could order food easily.

Its an excellent property located right next to Bekal Fort, backyard of the resort is the Sea which is just a two minute walk. Staff were also very friendly and available all the time.
