There was food supported for breakfast and snacks, a telly to watch the footy on while we drank a bottle of wine. The Lough was nearby and I swam in the morning.

Staying at Old Farm was a fantastic experience as it is beautiful and cosy. Margaret and Alfie were very friendly and helpful. From the minute I arrived I was welcomed and they looked after me very well. All the guests become part of the family! Breakfasts, with fresh laid eggs and homemade bread and jams, and (optional) dinners with the hosts and other guests were a highlight. There was always excellent home-cooked food (with special attention to specific diets), great company, fun and interesting conversations. One day Alfie and a young girl guest made flat breads and a range of burgers, which was so nice to see and eat! Having the hens, ducks, lovable dogs and cats was a bonus. It's a very picture-book place, well positioned for access to many towns and sites of interest, but peaceful as a retreat too. I was also able to work online from there too. Can't wait to go back.

I loved Nenagh. My grandfather was from there.

I loved Nenagh. My grandfather was from there. One thing I really like about Nenagh is the bustling high street full of authentic shops, and not loads of chain stores and identikit places like they have in the UK. It is a good place for people who like walking and outdoor activities.

Many stunning walks, of varying length, in Tipperary. Lots of pretty villages on the shore of Lough Derg. A fantastic preserved wetland to visit, manned by volunteers, and some wonderful old abbeys/ churches.

Nice town with all the services you would want/need.

Nice town with all the services you would want/need. We especially enjoyed the tour of the Heritage Centre. The lady conducing the tours was very personable and knowledgeable, this a definite highlight. Pantry Cafe serves great eat in or "take away" meals. Location was perfect for us to use as a base for travels throughout the area.

The extra touches like lunch and breakfast packages on arrival. The cleanliness of the house and the grounds. The decor and comfort it really was our own private hotel. Perfect area for kids with sports facilities and a gym for the adults. Playground and plenty of space in the garden for kids to roam freely, bringing our dog made it so much easier to get away! The weather wasn't great but the house was so equipped with netflix and board games that it really didn't matter about the weather! Can't wait to return in the Summer!

    - Great location in Nenagh town centre, very short walk to bars, restaurants & shops. - Lots of space around the accommodation to park the car. - Bernie was so welcoming and really made sure we had everything we needed. She also offered to get up extra early to make breakfast for us as we had an event to go to. - Really comfy beds & sparkling clean room. - Big Irish breakfast offered in the morning, home cooked and delicious.

We stayed with Bernie to assist to my friend's wedding at Ashley Park Hotel which is only 14 mins away by car. Bernie goes above and beyond making you feel so welcomed. She ensures that you are equiped with all what is needed in your stay; fresh bread, milk, teas & coffess, cereals, I mean everything. We are so glad we stayed at Bernie's, herself and her partner are so nice and kind.

This is a self catering place to stay and very quiet too. The hosts Margaret and John are very friendly to talk to. It is very close to Nenagh where there are lots of places to eat too. Its the quietness of the property I liked, would recommend to stay here if you want to get away from it all.

Lucky for me there were signs to this B&B from the road, as I'd had difficulty getting directions from Nenagh. Good overnight stay with comfort. The scrambled egg at breakfast was especially delicious.
