Beautiful spot just on the edges of this lovely town - a ten minute walk but we also used taxis and that was never an issue. The views are amazing and a gorgeous garden to sit in and admire them. Everything was such good quality and the breakfasts just delicious with all options of breakfast delights available. Everyone was so friendly and lovely and we had a great time. Thank you 🙏

A fantastic house in a brilliant location. Loved our walks to the beach in the evening . House was well equipped and check in was smooth. There's loads of books, consoles and video games and board games to keep kids entertained if the weather is bad. We'll def be back

We fell in love with Dooey and Fishermans Village - this is a really special place. The location couldn’t be more perfect, with incredible sea and countryside views and a wild and beautiful beach a couple of minutes walk away. Downings is no more than 10 minutes drive with a good selection of places to get great food. The accommodation is well furnished - comfortable, cosy and with everything you need. The sitting room for guest use was a great place to relax. Breakfast is excellent. And Kathleen and the team are so welcoming and friendly and lovely to talk to. With we could have stayed longer and planning to come back soon.

Dunfanaghy itself could have maybe another shop or two for appealing to tourists. I noticed bus trips stop there. Unfortunately a derelict hotel opposite Arnold’s hotel is a bit of an eye sore. Have heard it may have been purchased by a new owner so that may improve things.Arnold’s itself has good outdoor appearance.
In general seems a friendly community , and near a number of picturesque and beautiful beaches.

I love Donegal and would never leave without a visit to the old workhouse for a coffee, a browse in the craft shop and maybe pick up a used book or two. A staff member recommended a lovely walk this time around as well. Another favourite is a visit to Ards Friary, lovely coffee there too after a walk along the sea and a visit to the beautiful little beach, perfect for the grand-children so will have to let them into the secret. Ostan Loch Altan in Gortahork is a great wee place to eat and very reasonably priced too.

Very busy this time due to heatwave & the fact people had missed out on earlier holidays this year.
The beaches in Co Donegal are fabulous.
We ate in “ The Cove”, Arnold’s hotel & The Shannon hotel
Yes, easy to get round Dunfanaghy - just a long Main Street.
We would avoid week- ends too busy!

Close to the town but when you leave the town you benefit from escaping the noise and traffic to tranquil surroundings. Lovely rooms and great facilities. Made to feel very welcome and a relaxed atmosphere.
Well organised and breakfast was fantastic too.

The Cove restaurant was a very pleasant experience, beautiful food and friendly owner and staff. You have to try the fish.
Then the beach, what a beautiful day we had, friendly people too. Pity we couldn't try the horse riding because of covid.
Loved our stay at Annes house.
The house itself has absolutely everything you could need. Kitchen has every type of utensil you could think of. Beds were very comfortable, house was very clean. Anne was great to communicate with as well, Very prompt and helpful!
The house itself is set about 8 minutes drive from Dunfanaghy, We liked that we were a bit outside of the town, you would definitely not get the views or peace and quiet if you were in the centre. We Would love to come back!
This place was a slice of Paradise. It's more like a quaint hotel than a B&B. I traveled back to visit home in Ireland with my partner from Texas. He had never been and was amazed by this place too. HIGHLY recommend it.
The staff were really friendly. Breakfast was gorgeous. The first morning I had a full Irish, then next I had smoked Atlantic salmon and scrambled eggs all of which were cooked to perfection. They also had interesting things like vanilla seaweed pudding.
What a fantastic accommodation for our weekend break. Right in the centre of Dunfanaghy, and close to a great beach walk. The views in the morning from the bay window seat were stunning. Gillian, the owner, popped round to say hello on the Friday. The house was spotlessly clean, the beds comfortable, and a well stocked kitchen, with plates, cutlery, pots and pans. By far, this is the best accommodation we've been to for many, many years. We'll done Gillian.
We loved our stay at The Mill. It is a beautiful and extremely comfortable property, with lovely gardens and a stunning view over the lake. Our hostess made us feel very welcome and shared good advice about nearby points of interest. We enjoyed excellent breakfasts in the warm, sunny dining room. There is a comfortable sitting room and also a conservatory where guests can relax, read a book, or share a glass of wine without feeling crowded in together.
Very impressive on driving down the lane the hotel looks over marble Hill beach, just stunning! Staff very friendly and helpful! The view from the big window in the room is outstanding! Food was very tasty in the beats bar ,fish and chips amazing portion so fresh, really recommended, ohhh and try the brownie cheesecake layers of perfection so light 😋.
There is a recycling bin that allows for segregation of rubbish and reducing black bin waste.
The location is the major plus as the property is only a short stroll into Dunfanaghy, which is a treasure of a town in Donegal.
The property was larger than expected and no problem with parking.
Apartment was, really comfortable and clean with all the amenities you wanted. It was just off the main square in Dunfanaghy, 2 mins walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Ann was very helpful and quick to answer any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again.
Great set up with range of accommodation and lovely garden/ grounds. Excellent breakfast, family friendly place. Well located for stunning beaches and the town of Dunfagnhy with all you could want for holiday - pubs/cafe restaurants/ supermarket etc.
A hidden gem in the northwest. Great access to Donegal sightseeing to visit Dunfanaghy or Falcarragh. The lodge is full of character, a most enjoyable experience. I would recommend it as somewhere to stay on your travels around Tir Chonaill.
It’s slap bang in the middle of Dunfanaghy, with its pubs, shops and cafes, and minutes from the beach. A good shower, too, and excellent communication. Good value for money compared with other places in the town.
As I am 7 months pregnant, I felt very last relaxed at the hotel and there was a good vibe about the place. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the spa and the staff couldn’t have been anymore accommodating.
Individual unique hotel The breakfast was especially good with a wide range of choice from traditional,,to delicious homemade granola Will definitely be returning
