Wayan and his wife Emma have created a little oasis filled with love. A sanctuary for the soul. They are very generous and share the Balinese traditions and way of life. I was close to just canceling the rest of my holiday plans to stay there. It is very restful and peaceful in a rural setting with the local rice fields just a few minutes walk away. Chickens, cats and dogs roaming around and the cows from the neighbor welcoming you with a muuu. Wayans complementary evening meditations which can be enjoyed by anyone are the cherry on top...
Featuring inner courtyard views, Bersila La Maison Du Bonheur features accommodation with patio, around 7.3 km from Tegallalang Rice Terrace.

It was in a beautiful setting, I had my own section of terrace beyond my patio overlooking the jungle ravine where I practiced yoga in the morning. There was also a small yoga room, and an outdoor massage room where I had the Background sound of birds to nourish my soul - the only one I could find in Bali so far! There was free transport to local spots after checkout.

- Little flaws in the room (airco and fan not working properly)

- Staff should put out cushions by the pool when pool opens (we had to ask after being there for 2 hours)
- The charge of 10% service fee on everything really bothered us.

The area is spectacularly beautiful however it cops a lot of rain and there can be land slides which cut road access. Our hotel (Adiwana Dara Ayu Villas) was a long way from other properties, so eating options (hotels, restaurants, local warungs) were non existent and sadly as the food in our hotel was abysmal (even the Indonesian was done badly) we skipped eating meals which diminished the pleasure of the holiday.

It is a relaxing place you can enjoy the rice terraces and crops around with this mystic that you can feel visiting the temples. Also, you can find many options to enjoy a relaxing bath in a waterfall.

I truly enjoyed walking the two of us through the village. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural view on the side of the road was a great way to Relax and enjoy your quality time for.
This property was absolutely amazing. Being in the heart of the jungle was such a unique experience and Banyan Tree Escape made our first trip to Bali so memorable. The staff was what made this experience so dear to our heart. Our host, De Gus, went above and beyond to make us feel at home and even assisted with setting up our proposal. It was perfect!! The staff at the spa were exceptional and even management took a moment to introduce themselves to us and congratulate us on our engagement. We simply cannot recommend this property enough!
this place is a piece of heaven hidden in the middle of the jungle. very comfortable bed, best sleep we had in days. the room is spacious and clean. the hotel have a good restaurant, good spa and such friendly staff that would go above and beyond to make sure your stay is wonderful! you’ll escape the busy loud life in Bali by coming here. so serene. they have this cute cable car that can take you half the way to the pool or river and it’s worth getting on for the ride.
This hotel was one of my favorite stays throughout my travels! The Hotel is nestled into an expansive lush jungle with nothing as far as the eyes can see. It is secluded and far away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist hotspots in Bali, and I could not be happier with my selection. The staff were absolutely fantastic too! They were friendly, attentive and a joy to deal with. The villas are stunningly beautiful and seamlessly blend into the surrounding greenery.
I loved the staff, they were so nice & super attentive. The most friendly & accommodating hotel staff I have come across in my history of traveling. I wish I could have brought them back to America just to feel there good vibes everyday lol. I also loved how spacious the villas are, how secluded and quite the atmosphere was — believe it or not, I enjoyed the sounds of the animals every morning. The property is exactly what I need, peace and zen.
This is a beautiful, traditional Balinese home that has been adapted for travellers. It looks as though it has grown up out of the jungle. The rooms are huge with a hot/cold water system for drinking with a full sized fridge and microwave.
Breakfast is extensive.
The walls are so thick you're insulated against the usual noises of dogs barking and roosters/hens.
The host enjoys a chat and we exchanged views and knowledge on many subjects.
The staffs are so friendly and immediately at your service whenever you need.
The hotel is in the jungle and you find so much peace there. We didn't stepped out the hotel besides the market tour from the cooking class and weren't bored at all. You can easily spend the day by lying by the pool or have a walk in the jungle. Highly recommend to book a morning canyan trekking so that you can visit the rice field above the hotel.
One of the prettiest locations to stay in Bali if you would like peace, quite and overview of the jungle.
We had 2 bungalows booked and both had an amazing view and the feeling that you are alone in and with the nature.
Bathroom is open, there is hot water and toiletries.
Hotel provides shower and pool towels.
Good breakfast
Staff is helpful and really kind
Perfect location for a traveler who wants to enjoy peace
The Pramana Giri Kusama is a beautiful and unique hotel with a jungle / boutique feel.
The pool is set within the jungle area and is large enough for a relaxing swim amongst the trees and accompanying wildlife.
There is a good selection of food available from the menu and the food was delicious. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
This area of Ubud is a great spot for seeing the local sites.
- staff are wonderful
- lots of free activities provided by the hotel ( yoga, outdoor biking etc)
- pool area is nice
- breakfast was great
- hotel restaurants are nice
- temperature here is much cooler than other parts of Bali. If you hate the heat but wanna come to Bali this place is perfect! Their heated pool goes well with the temperature as it can be a bit cold when the sun is gone.
This is our second stay after first time in 2019
And the room we got this time is exactly same room we had before, room no. 4
We love this hotel couldn't find any better than this coz its best value with everything we wanted to stay in Ubud. Nice paddy field view, glass walls and window, swimming pool, and not many rooms so feel nice and quiet
Located in the deepest part of Ubud, the setting is fantastic, the best rainforest style hotel in Bali. The temperature is low at night, and customers need to keep warm. Both the natural scenery and the location of the hotel are excellent, the night is very quiet, and it is comfortable to sleep with the sound of insects and frogs.
One of the most amazing hotels I have ever stayed at.
the pool was incredible, food at the restaurants was divine, and such a comfortable room and bed with a huge bathroom. will definitely stay here again. the location isn’t in the centre of Ubud so you will need a driver or to take the shuttle bus to get to the centre.
Buahan is relatively isolated and ideal for rest and peaceful stay. Outdoor private pool covered in stones and using spring water is one of a kind. Water pressure and hot water is excellent. Indonesian breakfast i.e. nasigoreng is really tasty and among the best in Bali. Staffs are hospitable and approachable.
Quite far outside of Ubud, in the middle of the rice fields, it's quiet, although lots of frogs around, the view on to the rice fields is stunning. The open rooms leave air through, so it's never really hot in there. Huge bathroom, interesting design. Very friendly staff! Breakfast is tasty too.
The owners were incredible. Felt like home and I even extended for another night, 4 in total. Wayan teaches meditation with his whole heart and Emma makes a delicious breakfast. When I come back to Bali I am definitely coming here again
Gorgeous place hidden in the North ubud ,right in the forest and with his own river and small waterfalls, hidden jem for a couple of day of pure bliss..
Be carefull Everything is perfect from the arrival to the check ou!!
The staff very helpful.. The resort located abit far from Ubud, surrounded by jungle and very much enjoyed the fresh jungle air as well as the serenity.
