If I didn't know it is actually a student's dorm, I wouldn't guess... it's a very nice temporary hotel, more confortable than many others with `etiquette` that I have seen in Hungary. Very close to the Aqua Park, University, yet far away from the city center... so depends on what you target when booking in Debrecen.

The location of this apartment was spot on!

Right in the heart of the city centre, walking distance to the train station and all the shops, bars and restaurants.
Sitting on the tiny balcony in the morning for coffee or evening for a glass of wine was very nice. So many great restaurants are in the area and the standard of food is very good.
Over the past 5 years we have seen so many changes to the City, Every time we visit, there are new restaurants and coffee shops, renovated walkways, and gardens. The architecture of the buildings is beautiful although there are now so many newly built modern flats being built too.
What I love the most about Debrecen is the quietness. The tram system is so efficient there are less cars & pollution. I always feel healthier when I'm here.
Visit the zoo & Lake Tisza.
I would definitely recommend this city and the apartment we stayed in.

Debrecen seems like a nice chilled place to be.
Debrecen seems like a nice chilled place to be. People are polite and respectful. there are things to do and visit. I would definitely recommend visiting the Deri Museum and Reformed College where lovely staff took me around to show and tell, a special thank you to Zsuzsanna, who accompanied me throughout my visit as i was the only visitor then and i loved it. We also visited Aquaticum and Thermal Baths, and had a ride on the steam train, lovingly called Zsuzsi Vonat by locals.
If you get tired of being there, venture off to Eger, amazing historical city 2.5hrs away from Debrecen by bus, or for more thermal baths head to Hajduszoboszlo, 30 min away by bus. For a nature fix, go to the Hortobagy National Park which is around 1 hour away by bust but worth the visit.
Debrecen may seem a little too quite, i don't wanna say boring, at times, but it grows on you and wins you over with its provincial charm.

We chose Debrecen because it was at a perfect distance from Nyíregyháza Zoo (1 hour away) and Hajdúszoboszló Spa (30 minutes away), so we didn't really had time to visit the city, but we stayed at a hotel near the historical center of the city and what we've seen was nice. Also my wife and my daughter bought a lot of clothes easier and cheaper than Pandorf.
The room was very spacious and cool. The weather was sunny and warm and the AC kept the room at a normal temperature. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the whole hotel very clean. The breakfast was good and there were plenty of options. The restaurant at the hotel is also very good. I highly recommend staying at this hotel whilst in Debrecen.
This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It couldn't be more centrally located in Debrecen, yet I could find parking space easily in front of the building. The rooms are really spacious, clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was OK, the wifi worked well. Altogether I would happily return.

Very nice apartment, spotlessly clean. Next to the wine&jazz feztival, close to Aquaticum thermal baths, minimarket right next building. Easy access by tram to the center of Debrecen (station in front of the apartment). Closed parking was a big plus. Definitely worth the money.
We came to Debrecen for our daughter graduation ceremony.
Very clean and tidy place , with all the amenities available for a perfect stay, the host was kind enough to allow us to park the car in the compound. Safe and secure place.
Very close to university and super market
The hotel is situated really at the center of Debrecen. The staff (especially at the reception) was really helpful. The room was good compared to the price and was clean. The breakfast was normal with a lot of Hungarian food.
A good place to spend one night, as it was my case, without paying too much. The hotel has a private parking lot, which also worked for me. The facilities are a bit basic, but it wasn't a problem with me.
Nice apartment in the town centre. Private parking in the backyard (narrow but doable with Volvo V50). Easy check-in and clear instructions. Great value for the price in Debrecen.
It is a brand new hotel. The room and all facilities are very clean and stylish. The breakfast was good. if you visit Debrecen this is the hotel where you should stay.
The hotel has good location, close to the city center and on a very quiet street.
The rooms were clean. There is a nice yard to relax and the hosts were very kind.
