Beautiful Cycladic home with its own fabulous restaurant and walking distance to the beach. It’s run by Isidore and his lovely wife, along with Maria and Marco; they were so accommodating which helped a lot since my partner uses a manual wheelchair, they all made us feel right at home. Their service wasn’t the smooth and polished one usually found in hotels but it was a more impressive one because we felt the authenticity of their sincere wish to help and create an enjoyable stay for us at their “home”. By the time we left, we felt like we were leaving old friends behind.

We were there right at the start of the season (May) and it was relatively quiet which we liked. Still there were plenty of cool beach bars with very comfortable loungers, great restaurants and cocktail bars. It had a really nice vibe. Kini is great for family vacation, for a week max. It has a nice beach, flooded with umbrellas and beach beds though, so if you like organised beaches, it's ideal. It has a few taverns, with good food in reasonable places. Ermoupoli and Ano Syros is quite close, about 15 minutes by car.ΛΛάμπης ΖαρόGreece - 10Scored 10

Kini was the perfect mix of Greek style beach resort and traditional village. Not too flashy but with many nice restaurants and an amazingly crystal clear beach. It is easy to walk around the whole village and beyond to other beaches nearby. We ate mostly in our villa but enjoyed meals on the beachfront at restaurants serving traditional Greek food at a good price. A great place to stay.

Winding roads crisscross this uniquely hilly Cyclades island, and here on the west coast you can find the best sunsets. The horseshoe cove of Kini beach is the main attraction IMHO having stayed here and travelled up the coastline (by boat to some quiet beaches) and down (by bus) on way round to the capital. With soft fine sand and just the right amount of tavernas and tourists to retain the Greek feel, it's a good place to stay for 3-5 days.

Beautiful, compact village, with a choice of beaches - fairly peaceful & too overrun with tourists. Some wonderful restaurants and cafes, plus a local fresh fish market, although I didn't get the chance to see it open. Warm, welcoming people with a nice balance of friendly locals and holiday makers from all walks of life. Peaceful haven, only 20 minutes bus from the city of Ermoupolis.AAnonymous

It meets more than we expected, the appartment was spacious, to the latest standards, excellent modern bathroom, big porch with amazing view. What you see on the pictures, you get 100%+. Appartement is also very clean and cleaned every day. We were very friendly received, the owner welcomed use with a plate with fruit and a glas if wine. Really the best place to stay in Kini!
