Our favourite place during day was the beach coast close to the bar Noa, because comfortable sunbeds, easy access to the sea, less people. The part of beach near the hotel I used only for regular morning swimming. During day it was uncomfortable for us because sunbeds was not able to move to the shadow, it was too narrow space for all beds. I learned that it is very easy to get to the hotel from the airport by public bus. There is no need to rent a car or travel by taxi. Also rent a car in the town is more cheaper then online rent a car.

Rent a motorbike and go explore Paradise beach, Kefalos and see the sunset at Marmari! Take a motorbike or sunset tour to Zia and have a wonderful dinner in one of the restaurants with a sunset view there! Go for a stroll to Kos Town, see the ruins, harbour, castle, Hippocrates platan etc., shop souvenirs, eat at Mama's kitchen! Kardemena is a lovely friendly village. Safe for solo travellers. Plenty of lovely restaurants and bars. Not a party town at all. Lots of boat trips, car and buggy hire places. A lovely harbour to look at night or day from the many restaurants and bars facing it. It has 2 beaches. One aligned with a few beach bars/restaurants and the other very quiet. Plenty of little shops to dander around and enough supermarkets and mini markets for all your essentials. The house is located 2 minutes from all the important points.,( kritikos supermarket, bus stop that goes to mastichari port and kos town and to a lovely sandy beach) The host was very welcoming and communicated to make sure we were okay. We had a bottle of wine, juice and water as a gift on arrival. The apartment itself is very quiet for a good rest, and yet only two minutes away from all the bustle of the town. Would return there anytime!
