Big modern villa. Lots of space. Very private and quiet. So quiet you'll get to see deer grazing around the villa at night

Gennadi is an adorable small village featuring a handful of delightful restaurants, a bakery, and a small grocery store. It enjoys a convenient location, with short driving distances to neighboring villages and cities – just 10 minutes to Kiotari and 30 minutes to Lindos. The journey to Rhodes Old Town takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by car. If you prefer tranquil, less touristy destinations, Gennadi is an excellent choice.

Best beaches in the whole of Rhodes.
Best beaches in the whole of Rhodes. Since the winds are usually blowing from north/west and Gennadi is situated on the southeast coast the place is less windy. The beach is really long and has pebbles, so you don't get sand everywhere.
There is a really nice beach front bar/restaurant called Sposa del Sol. Their signature drink Sposa del Sol is super good. They have beach front sunbeds and sofas for their clients.
Along the beach there is also another really nice restaurant Klimis, with nice homemade food. Best fried vegetables are found here.
In the village of Gennadi there are a lot of very good restaurants. At least Mama and Zorbas have superb Greek traditional foods. I am sure there are many more good ones also, we just did not have time to visit them all.
Gennadi is cheaper and more genuine than the old town of Rhodes and Lindos, and it is a more tranquil place.
One of the nicest places that we have visited in Greece.
It is recommended to rent a car - it will give you so much more freedom and easy. But there is also a bus.

A large village / small town with a good selection of bars, restaurants, a green grocer, excellent bakery, and reasonable supermarket. South of here, things become increasingly spartan, whilst northwards they are increasingly touristy, so strikes a good balance between practicality and traditional feel.
Set back about 250m from the beach, with some very nice properties available to rent, some with pools.
Has a good local feel to it, with plenty of local people around, not just tourists.
Food prices generally good - a large, whole, grilled fish for 18 euros at Zorba's Tavern, for example, or a very fat gyros with pork for 3 euros at Bessa's Corner. Some restaurants push Italian pizza and pasta as well as Greek traditions, with one or two feeling more traditional (e.g. goat stew or excellent moussaka at Sergio's Old Times). Some offer take out and delivery service too if you are outside the village (e.g. Bessa's Corner can deliver all sorts of grills and gyros).
At the back of the village is a small church, with a pleasant walk through a green way to the graveyard and valley behind.
Bus stop by the pharmacy on the main road, with easy access to Lindos (2.70 one way), Rhodes (7.20 one way) and other places. Car and scooter hire available in the village itself too.

We love Gennadi. It has some lovely restuarants .
We love Gennadi. It has some lovely restuarants . Fully recommend going to Mammas but you need to book as gets very busy, food is great. The town itself is very pretty and at night they close down the main street and all the restaurants bring their tables out. Greek dance happens at night in the street also. Gennadi has everything you need a small supermarket, bakery, greengrocers and is very close to the beach. The beach is very pebbley so take some beach shoes with you

Gennadi is a lively little place and as yet not over developed. The village is friendly, charming and has everything you need for a week self catering.
Highly recommend restaurants in Gennadi - Mana’s Kitchen and Zorbas. For ice cream and sweet treats go to the South Bakery.
I’d recommend visiting both Rhodes Town and Lindos (the bus stop is 1 minute from the property).
The beach is shingle and pebbles. It is a wide ‘bay’ but we preferred to use our pool rather than go to the beach.

Gennadi is a lovely village to visit.
Gennadi is a lovely village to visit. Tourists are well catered for but the village is not overly touristy which is a plus. There is a good, cheap bus service to Lindos and Rhodes Town although this is much slower than driving. Ginnardi has a gorgeous beach which is very quiet but with some tavernas, a beach bar and sun loungers available. It exceeded my expectations
Excellent apartments with fully equipped kitchen in a house with a large swimming pool, located along a secondary road a little away from the center, but very quiet and peaceful place while everything is close and very accessible: the beach is 3 minutes by car or 10 minutes on foot, the village center with taverns, a supermarket and a bakery, 10 minutes on foot. the hostess Chrisoula is very hospitable and hospitable, she keeps the apartments in perfect cleanliness. Gennadi beach is just great with crystal clear water.
Enough good things can‘t be said about this place, I would go back there in a heartbeat. The staff is lovely and friendly without ever being intrusive. The location is wonderful, the hotel has it‘s own beach with very clear water, sunbeds and umbrellas, and hardly any other people. The food is great as well. You eat outside with a view of the sea and in the company of the cat and the chickens. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need. Overall this place was exactly what I was looking for.
The compound is located in Gennadi, a charming small town in south Rhodos, close to restaurants and the local beach. The communication with Matt, the manager was exceptional, ranging from the info on directions, optional car rental, storage of windsurfing gear, local advice, etc, etc. He even took care of some courtesy delicacies and children's toys for us. The apartment and was perfectly clean, the local pool was great.Worgate is great value for money.
The villa's location is great, with a short walk to the lovely village of Gennadi, where you can find nice restaurants, a bakery, and a small grocery store. Gennadi Beach is also within walking distance. It's a quiet, small village.
The villa's outdoor dining area is roomy and thoughtfully arranged, positioned alongside the house walls to provide shelter from the wind, making it a comfortable place to enjoy your meals.
Location is amazing!!! Just across from a beach with the most beautiful water and beach side restaurants with great food. The couple running the place are very friendly and accommodating. The room was very tastefully designed, great size room, very comfortable. Balcony offered a view of the beach. This was my favourite place to stay on our Greece trip that included Athens, Rhodes city, santorini and Naxos.
From the moment we arrived, Gennadi Grand Resort made us feel like VIPs. The 24-hour front desk ensured all our needs were met promptly and with a smile. The on-site restaurant offered delectable dishes, and the option for room service was a convenient touch. With its prime location, luxurious amenities, and exceptional service, this resort exceeded all our expectations.
A wonderful stay in just a new brand resort in the South of Rhodes. The sea in front of the hotel is awarded with blue flag for its clean water. The staff was very helpful and polite and the breakfast was absolutely fabulous! We will be back in our next trip to Rhodes for more days in order to use the awarded SPA!
This is my 5th time in Kiotari, Rhodes and first time in Casa Marinella and we will definetely come back. Very convinient location, many rooms, nice kitchen if you need to cook, yard to park your car safely, very clean and comfortable!
Great place to stay! Good location, 8-10 minutes walk from the beach, 3 minutes walk to the central street with bars&restaurants. The house itself is fully equipped with everything you need in bathroom and kitchen.
Good location for a stay in Gennadi. Very close to beach and village center with a bakery, food market and good tavernas. Apartments had a good bed, good kitchen and terrace. Very friendly and responsive staff.
The villa is very nice, the beach really near. It is located in an really quite area. The main house has everything you need and really comfortable beds. Pool was also very nice. Price money value is great
Big and regularly cleaned partment with everything one need.
City is close, view is great, swimming pool is clean and nice bar to relax even more after a relaxing day on the beach:)
Amazing fully equipped apartment in Gennadi. Close to the village centre. Quiet area with an amazing scenery. All the rooms are named after gemstones, which I really liked.
