Everything! Modern, brand new, clean, comfy!
The room is spacious, has everything you need, a proper double bed not two singles pushed together like most cheap hotels, plus super comfy hard mattress amazing for your back, clean white sheets and funny covers on the cushions, little fridge, desk, kettle, hair dryer and even a wind break tent thingy in the closet. Massive tv (who cares???) and the loo is state of the art with a huge monsoon shower (could’ve spent an hour in there!)
Plus it’s right in the beach which you can see from the window if you crane your head out and right next to a coffee/oyster place amazing after a morning 5k beach side run! Will use again!

Location is pretty central and very close from the beach. The amenities were very good (tea, coffee, complimentary water and local beers), and the decoration of the room is very stylish, room was big and bed was very comfy. Breakfast was very good and freshly prepared.
Just across the road from the beach, Hotel Continental offers well-appointed rooms around 10 minutes’ walk from Whitstable’s characterful town centre.

The room (6) was too small for two adults. There was almost no room to leave the luggage. The terrace was bigger than the room. It was not easy tot get into the bed on the right hand side.
The lady in the breakfastkitchen was not fiendly. I asked if there weren't any fried eggs ang I got a rather rough answer. The scrambled eggs were almost cold and dry.
However the waiter was very nice!
There was no parking available during the night and we drove an oldtimer. The parking in front of the hotel is expensive.

Really nice very clean, bright room ,with sea view and balcony. Balcony could do with a bit of TLC but the outlook was great and so good to be able to sit out in the sun ....... I was lucky and did get some sun.
Food excellent. Really didn't expect such good food in a fairly modest hotel .Good value too,
Staff very friendly . Mostly locals, which I did like, so were able to fill me in on local info.
I was made to feel very much at home and as a single female traveler that was especially welcome. Particularly in the Restaurant when dining alone.
It was a most enjoyable experience and I would certainly go again.

Lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes.
Lovely little town with lots of independent shops and cafes. Harbour area was particularly pleasant although parking in this area was expensive. Plenty of town centre parking. We visited in April so the town was quite quiet but I imagine in the summer, it would be busy. Visited Whitstable Castle but not much to see or do there although the gardens were pretty.

We liked the wide choice of pubs and restaurants and cafes.
The local people helpful and friendly. We liked the art deco styling of The Peter Cushing pub and the drinks were the cheapest in Whitstable.
Interesting to read about the actor who used to live in one of the characterful houses on the seafront.

Whitstable is lovely although the hotel we stayed at isabove the Tankerton slopes that lead down to the beach at Tankerton. The beach is pebbles but clean. The town of whitstable is quaint with small independent shops. There is an excellent fish snd chip shop in the town Jones, although that is closing down soon. Plenty of lovely restaurants and coffee shops.

This was an extremely short trip so we could only sample a bit of the town but we loved it. Lots of individual shops, cafes and restaurants. Interesting pubs and a small but fascinating museum. Also managed to have a look round the Harbour too. Had a drink at the Twelve Taps - that offer a tasting board of 3 x small beers. And found a fish and chip shop with attached restaurant that did gluten-free fish and chips.
The location was perfect, right in the centre of Whistable. The view from our window/balcony of the beach was brilliant.
Our main reason for choosing his option rather than other locations was it parking space (a rare commodity in Whitstable!). The accommodation is room only, tea and coffee making facilities only but there is the option of having breakfast at The Continental Hotel (the owners of the properties) but there are many other options also nearby.
The B&B was very comfortable and clean with Sue being a wonderful host. The cooked breakfast’s were very good and Sue would find an alternative if you wanted something different. Parking is very difficult in Whitstable but the hotel has access to a couple of parking spaces round the corner which is very useful and included in the cost. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good night’s sleep every night.
My husband and I really enjoyed our trip to Whitstable staying in this beautiful self contained apartment, which was super clean, well furnished and kitted out to a very high standard. Vanessa & Gary had thought of everything to make the property work on all levels, even leaving gifts of wine, milk and chocolates! The property, a short 5 minute walk into town, has a parking space too! Highly recommended.
Central location, easy to park. Accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the heating was easy to control for a pleasant night. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. The location was great for travelling and we reached Herne Bay and Canterbury in 20 mins by car. A pleasant walk to the nearby Whitstable castle and gardens where there is a small cafe.
Free parking outside the hotel, which included good breakfast with wide choices. Nice eating areas. Nice rooms with modern windows, well-appointed ensuite, coffee and tea making facilities. Great bed. Good fire escapes. Well maintained.
15 minute walk along sea front into Whitstable town or to Tankerton. Enough places to eat in both directions. Lots of seafood.
A lovely cosy room right in a perfect location in Whitstable. Lower score on the facilities as bathroom/shower so tiny I had go go back into the room to turn around but did not detract from our stay. The kitchen facilities are very limited but so happy to have the fridge and be able to make a cup of tea before venturing out for breakfast
self contained small bungalow with own front door. much nicer than a hotel room. spotlessly clean. we had a fridge and a toaster and kettle. The hosts had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. There was even a sewing kit and torch provided. If we go to Whitstable again we would definitely stay again.
Very clean and neat. Well equipped. Excellent location. Very good to have parking space included, and that the parking was available for an hour before and an hour after check in / check out. The staff at the Hotel Continental (where we had to go to check in and collect our key card) were so so lovely!
The location was incredible, so close to the sea and to the high street with restaurants and shops. The Warehouse Cottages were modern and spotlessly clean with character and interesting features. For those who drive, they also had a parking space available, including EV chargepoint
Excellent location and very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble for them! We were upgraded on check-in and our room was beautiful with a stunning sea view. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable, had a very boutique hotel feel.
Aptly named “the Snug” is perfect for two and is in a wonderful location with good private parking. It is well-equipped and is close to a small selection of shops, the seafront and is a walkable distance, especially along the seafront, to Whitstable.
Was very clean and comfortable, good location. Would definitely stay again.
Staff in reception at the Hotel Continental were brilliant so helpful
Plus a parking permit was a BONUS. Exceptionally clean, nice bedding, 🥰 perfect!
Room extremely comfortable and exceptionally clean. Staff were helpful as always. The ;location is lovely. The greatest compliment I can pay a hotel is to stay there again and I have stayed at the Marine 3 times now.
Have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions as we love how peaceful the area is but within walking distance to whitstable. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is amazing in lovely surroundings
It was comfortable, clean and quiet.
There was some tea, coffee, milk , bread etc left which we had not expected. Parking was close and it was
Close to the beach.
