Large modern rooms attached to a pub with an excellent restaurant highly recommended as a base for a visit to the Derbyshire Dales be sure to book if you wish to eat in the restaurant as it is justifiably very popular and provides a very good breakfast.
Offering a restaurant and a bar, The View at the White Horse Woolley Moor also boasts free WiFi access and free on-site parking for all guests.

We booked a table for dinner and the food was superb just rounded off a lovely trip
No phone contact

It was a convenient stop over but the hotel was very disappointing as there was no hot water to have a shower in the morning and no one at reception to complain . When I did find someone, I was told to email. The service station had places to get food but a lot of if it was shut later in the evening when I needed it.

Located just off the motorway, small selection of shops/eateries although some close relatively early.
Large enough car park with a few disabled spots out front aswell as an electrical charge station just up from the main entrance.
Barely hear any noise from the truck stop behind the building, same for the motorway noise.

It was quiet ....... but we booked a 2 double bed room and when arrived it was a 2 single bed room paid more for a room that we didn't have . The lady on reception was not very friendly and when asked about the two double beds was told nothing she could do as the accommodation didn't have double bed rooms and that we would have to contact booking.com as nothing to do with her. So basically she passed the book and blame to someone else

Friendly staff and good location ( if you use the staff service road to come and go rather than motorway which adds loads of extra miles if staying a few days to explore the local area I.e Peak District)
Beds poor- felt and could hear the springs clunking
Nobody on Reception until check in.
Hotel generally needs a refurbishment as looking tired.
Booked room with sofa bed but they no longer provide a sofa bed just an additional bed.
No fridge if staying a few days.
Fan provided on request

if you book this hotel find out if there is to be a party that night! if so, unless you are a party animal and you like attending other people's parties don't book it! The sounds from the pub will be very loud in your room making sleep impossible.
If there is no party then I could imagine it's a nice place to stay. It is handy for Bolsover Castle and Hardwick Hall. The landlord is a nice bloke and helpful, He has just spent a lot of money doing the place up and has done a good job. Furthermore, it's a nice pub. Pity about the party and very loud and rather average DJ!
The hotel itself was in an ideal location and was clean. However arriving with 3 children I had to make a pull out bed up myself. The TV did not work and I was informed they were all broken. Not ideal trying to entertain 3 children. The receptionist did come an knock back at more with vouches compensating with breakfast which was in the service station.
The location is just on the service area in the highway, close there are Costa and a supermarket with prices for highway. The hotel room was quite comfortable, big size and the staff was very kind. The room was clean and is a good for a short stay.
the place was OK and the room was very nice but they had a party that night and were getting ready for it. The hotel was in a good state of repair and the room we had was to a good standard, pitty the TV had no remote and couldn't be used.
The staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming. The room generally is fine. All that's required really is a bed and a bathroom. I also wouldn't hesitate staying here again as the hotel is very reasonably priced.
I really like this hotel because rooms r nice and clean and car parking is free.Wifi is free
And outside view is so so beautiful that's y me and my patner like this hotel so much
All is excellent 👌
