Excellent location, tight in the heart of the town. The reception being in the bar area made it nice to hang out when waiting on family. All staff very friendly and helpful.

Joe was an amazing host. As soon as I arrived she welcomed me into the house, took my bicycle away for safe storage and even gave me dinner. Joe certainly went above and beyond. I was looking forward to a salad or vegetables after a number of days of pub food, but the supermarkets were closed when I arrived on Sunday evening. Joe disappeared for a moment and reappeared with a delicious plate of roasted vegetables. Just what I’d been craving.
My room was really comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were in the room. Since my bathroom was across the hallway, there was a bath robe a pair of slippers provided. Nice touches.
It was great to have access to the kitchen and the sitting room. In the morning Joe left out eggs, bread for toast, cereals and a selection of marmalade and jams.
I really enjoyed my stay and felt welcomed and at home.

They made the breakfast for you individually and it was good. We did not have to follow the menu that was given and could ask for what we wanted.

The food at the restaurant was lovely and they did a great breakfast! The hotel had a lot of character. The toiletries were also really nice and the room was a good size and well furnished.

Great shopping centre just across the road from The Bear Inn.
Plenty of things to do. Glastonbury great for eating and little shop.
Street good for larger outlets and coffee bar with snack quick bites to eat.
If you want easy access to the shopping at Street then The Bear Inn is the best place to stay.

Clarks village is great for shopping at discount designer prices and easy to navigate around. Nice place for food and drinks. Glastonbury high Street not far, recommend a walk up the Torr, recommend Rainbows end Cafe. Breakfast in the Bear was lovely. The Bear is a nice pub to meet friends for drink and food.

Lovely place Street, Clarks Shopping Village, the market and the high street shops plenty to see and the eateries there are many choices in and around. We used this as our base to travel to other points within Somerset although not many miles from other places it takes a long time to travel, little streets mainly the issue, obviously expected though (i.e. 15 miles took 36 mins driving). We went to Ivythorn Sporting, if you like range shooting then this is the best place around, Steve, fabulous man very informative and helped us make the most of our stay whilst in Somerset. Walking Brean Down was wonderful so much history to see, well worth the walk and the lovely cafe's on site. If you haven't been then it is well worth a visit. Very close proximity to lots of the coast line, Cheddar Gorge, we had the most fantastic Thai meal at ZenThai and also fish and chips in Cheddar. Most of all the weather was very kind and the sun shone for a short stay. We will return again.

Stay are helpful and kind and the food good, however All the staff are young and I feel lack experience
This is reflected in the rooms
Our room rm 12 air con not working meaning windows had to be open pub / bar very noisy and traffic loud bathroom had mouldy tiles and a rusty bath tv remote hardy worked and the windows were filthy all little things easy to put right back t hadn’t been.
Other guests we found out had complained and had been moved.
Such a shame as it should be a lovely getaway location we stayed last year totally different experience

Went to Street for the outlet village with a friend for a girlie break. Street is a good location for many other places. eg Bath, Glastonbury.
Ate at the Bear Inn which is very good value for money and very welcoming
Good location in the nice little town of Street. Free parking in an adjacent public car park which I appreciated as so many hotels think nothing of charging for parking. Nice gastro pub vibe. The accommodation is in a little set of cottages next door so no pub noise underneath. Fairly nice room and if it had been £20 cheaper I’d have said good value for money. Clean and comfortable and nothing to complain about room wise.
My sincerest thanks to Jo for your warm hospitality!! You know exactly what the travellers need. We were so impressed by what you have thoughtfully prepared for us. Hygge Somerset is a beautiful place, so cozy with good location (esp for Millfield parents), very friendly neighbourhood, nice room with comfy bed, good breakfast with so many choices... Hygge Somerset is highly recommended!
Roomy studio with separate kitchen and nice shower room. Very clean with everything you could need. Offroad parking right outside. Courtyard garden was lovely although we didn't use it. Excellent selection of over 80+ DVDs for evening entertainment. Walking distance to High Street and Clark's Village designer outlet. Short drive to Glastonbury.
The hotel was ideally situated for our trip, a warm welcome and fantastic staff who literally could not do enough for you and so friendly and helpful, the breakfast and evening meal were superb with lots of choices for breakfast, all fresh and tasty. Lovely communal areas, Will definitely stay at this hotel again
Jo was amazing! So kind and friendly and really made the stay so comfortable for us. I felt at home straight away. I’ll be staying here again when ever I’m in Somerset. She made extra provisions for us with our baby and upgraded our room to fit the cot. The room was beautiful and clean and spacious.
Perfect place to stay, free parking, no stairs, quiet, easy unloading and loading, Clark's Shopping village outlet 10 minutes walk, 20 minutes easy drive off the M5. The second time I've stayed and won't be the last when I'm in Somerset.
The property is in an ideal Location for Street high street, shops, restaurants and the big retail
Park Clark’s.
The rooms were clean and tidy and other than not having a hairdryer, had everything else we needed for one night.
Very close to Street Outlet Shopping Village. And not far from Glastonbury.
Excellent value for money.
Very friendly and hospitable staff.
The food was excellent and the breakfast was more than we could manage.
The property was spacious and very clean. It had everything you could need … a home away from home. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a few days in Somerset… a great base to explore the area.
Room is good value for money. Nice breakfast and friendly staffs. Most importance is the best location to stay when we send our kids back to Millfield school. We always pick this hotel.
Great location to visit the surrounding area Glastonbury, Weston-Super-Mare, Longleat, Stonehenge & Salisbury, Bath and the very local outlet village in Street.
