Only stayed for 1 night so didn't get to know staveley it's self,we went to Hardwick Hall which is National Trust property.Old Rectory is grade 2 listed but they've incorporated old and new which we liked

We chose this B&B because it gave easy access for an onward...
We chose this B&B because it gave easy access for an onward visit. Staveley hall has some historic interest. The B&B has historic interest as the glass covered well was the village water supply 300 years ago. ( brilliant feature in the breakfast room )

When things were wrong she got them fixed quickly. The shower wasn't working and by the time we got back that evening a new one was installed. The breakfast was brilliant.
