This has become a regular place to stay when I am in the area as it is such a homely but efficiently run b&b. Liz is the perfect host, it is clean and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious.

Just stayed in the "ouse" glamping pod for 1 night as we attended a wedding at bunny hill venue. They pods really are luxurious. Great location for the wedding venue. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Just ashame there aren't ANY dog friendly ones as we would definitely go back.

South cave is a beautiful little village, every garden seems to be well kept. The people are very friendly and there are some lovely cafes with home cooked food at a very reasonable price. A mystery person makes woollen toppers for the post box, it was a dragon when I went and it apparently gets changed every few months. There are plenty of beautiful walks you can take around the areas.

Nice location.
Nice location.
The parts of the building I visited, restaurant, lodge, bar, reception, we're all in need some TLC. It wasn't good value for money. We paid £70 per night and Imo wS vastly over priced.

South Cave has a couple of pubs and a few shops, it's a very pleasant and well kept large village. Then there is Cave Castle.
The grounds of Cave Castle are splendid and an ideal place to relax and unwind. The hotel has ample free car parking and a wonderful SPA, which you can use the pool, steam room & sauna free when staying at the hotel.

It's a castle, that's the main attraction.
It's a castle, that's the main attraction. It's best to have a car but access by taxi to Brough then train makes for adequate travel connections. The breakfast is good. There is same day laundry service available.
The breakfast was replenished successfully. Good selection all round. Have stayed at Cave Castle last year and preferred breakfast this stay in the dining room. Selected time on check in , which wasn't a problem for us. This allowed breakfast to run smoothly and not have to wait for a table. Evening meal was lovely. Good menu and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. All staff were friendly and helpful throughout the Hotel. The Hotel is in such lovely grounds and first impressions are most impressive. We will return.
The staff in this hotel make it so special. The manager John was exceptionally helpful and so friendly. The staff were very busy and it was Christmas Eve but that didn’t stop them being really cheerful and friendly. All staff were just lovely and went out of their way to look after everyone. The food is exceptional and excellent value for money as well.
Lovely looking building and nice communal areas. Plenty of free parking. The food at the bistro cafe was brilliant and i thought well priced - esp the kids meal. Fish (beer battered fish and chips) was one of the best i have ever tasted. Hotel provided towels and woggles etc for family swim. Breakfast was good. Clean.
We loved the hotel as a whole, set in a beautiful village. The spa facilities were excellent and the breakfast was very tasty. There isn't too much in walking distance of the hotel but very easy to get to hull and Beverley. The bedroom was huge and Definitely exceeded expectations
friendly staff, spacious room, lively restaurant and bar when needed, satisfying breakfast, easy driving access, interesting walks right from the hotel, sleeping accommodation in separate building from bar, parking available, historic connections
The location is great and the surrounding areas are wonderful.
The hotel has plenty of parking and a good restaurant serving excellent food.
The staff are friendly and attentive.
Guests can use the pool area and there’s also treatments to buy .
A great hotel in a great setting, the staff are very attentive and friendly, the room was perfect. We had a very romantic night, our first time, it won't be our last, great value for money too our stay included breakfast which was excellent.
Love the decor and comfort of Cave Castle, feels like a grand house. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. The spa, pool and hottub are wonderful. Location is spot on. South Cave is a lovely village.
Clean and comfortable with pleasant and efficient staff. Only stayed then one night, arriving after 8 p.m. and leaving early the next morning so didn't see much of the hotel but wold stay again.
Architecturally this is a striking quirky hotel. Our room was spacious the food good and staff friendly but not inItially helpful when we needed to eat later but relented to group pressure!!
This was our 5th stay. The food is great. The bed in our room was one of the most comfortable I've slept in. The hotel is situated in a beautiful little village
This hotel is set in the most beautiful and tranquil setting. We particularly liked the leisure facilities. We also thought it was good value for money.
